    The Long Dark


    Ive owned the game "the long dark" for quite some time now, but ive never really gotten around to playing it. a couple days ago, i redownloaded it. once i tried to open it, a message immediately popped up saying "Try again in a while. were doing maintenance
    on xbox live services. to check service status, open xbox assist to the fix tab. (0x87e105dc)." ive tried restarting everything, and deleting and re-downloading, i removed my account and then put it back on, ive tried other accounts on my home xbox, but nothing
    seems to work. how can I fix this???

    Since you have already played the game and because of the error code, I assume that there is no problem with your account.

    But it could still be that the net is just too slow. Perhaps the server that is relavante for the game is too far away, so changing the DNS server can also help to fix connection problems. But also try to connect via cable (often an extrem boost)

    i forgot to add that ive checked the services over and over, and theyre always online and normal, but i just keep getting the same message

    We thank you for bringing this inquiry to our forums community, and understand that this concerns an inability to launch and play The Long Dark on your Xbox One console.

    If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
    reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out for us and then let us know the results.
