    The Long Dark & GamePass issue


    Hey y'all

    I used to play The Long Dark on PC and was excited to see it poppin on GamePass this month.

    I got the notification and did a remote install right away.

    But when I tried to launch it on Xbox I got the "Do you own this game?" prompt, so no dice.

    Then I checked the "Recently added" tab on Console and, to my surprise, it's not there.

    I've had this issue since it launched on GamePass, so it had the time to "roll out" (as I saw on the official twitter profile) and it's still unavailable.

    It shows up on the App, but not on Xbox.

    What's wrong? Is it exclusive to GamePass on PC?

    'Cause if it is, guess I won't play it so soon, as I don't have a PC anymore (and recently bought my quota of video games for the month)

    Since you have already played the game and because of the error code, I assume that there is no problem with your account.

    But it could still be that the net is just too slow. Perhaps the server that is relavante for the game is too far away, so changing the DNS server can also help to fix connection problems. But also try to connect via cable (often an extrem boost)

    We thank you for bringing this inquiry to our forums community, and understand that this concerns an inability to launch and play The Long Dark on your Xbox One console.

    If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
    reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out for us and then let us know the results.
