The Legend of Korra Freezes at Opening Screen

When I launched The Legend of Korra and got to the main screen, I pressed any button as it states. Then it informs you that the symbol shown is the save data symbol and to not exit the game or turn the console off. Then it proceeds to show the symbol at
the bottom of the screen without the message. My thoughts were that it would make some save data on my Xbox One and continue to the game. I let the game sit on that screen for over 20 minutes with no changes. I figured I would try to uninstall the game and
reinstall it to try to troubleshoot. My console will NOT allow me to uninstall, no matter how many times I click the option.

I don't know what to do.

THe game was bought on the Xbox One store.

According to the gamestop.com page, The Legend of Korra is not available to download until today at 9:00 AM CST.

I own The Legend of Korra on my Xbox 360 and am trying to download it onto my Xbox One, which the store says it is available on. I'm being asked to purchase the game again for $15, which I shouldn't have to do since I already own it. Anyone else having similar
issues with games they've purchased, or can anyone offer any assistance?

 

Can you please try heading to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray and then click Clear Persistent Storage three time then hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down? See if that fixes it.

 

Ok, that is strange. Are you using an external storage device?

 

Nope Xbox hard drive. Will I have to call someone at Microsoft then?

Just as an update to this situation.

I tried to leave the console on that "loading" screen while I took a 5hr nap. No change....
