    doom 1 and 2 redemption code messages disappeared

    xbox live support sent me here. i preordered doom for xbox one and received my message for the download codes for doom 1 and 2 like 13 hours ago but when i come home to redeem them all my xbox live messages have been deleted including the doom 1 and 2 codes.
    please help get my codes please

    Update lost my redeem codes in messages

    Hi,

    I did the recent update on my Xbox console and it deleted all my messages which I had kept from Xbox which had unused redeem codes on.

    What's even more random is that messages which I had deleted months+ ago had reappeared.

    I want my messages back so that I can redeem my codes.

    Can someone actually help me because over the 10odd years i've been with Xbox nothing ever gets sorted. It's always a joke!

    I sent it and received it back and it seems to be fine. When I initially got this message (as an xbox message, not email), I received a $20 redeemable code for my inconvenience. I was just going to redeem it when I got the console back so I went into to
    my messages just to find out all my messages were deleted (including the $20 code). Got transferred around about 5 times and no xbox rep has ever heard of this and refused to give me another code.

    Long story short, awful customer service.

    i accidentally deleted the most recent message sent to me from xbox live with the header " your a fan of us..." and wish to retrieve it or have it resent to me from xbox live

    I did the same stupid thing...deleted the message before I could redeem the code for the preview of the new updates.

    There should be a code included inside the box that had the console. Then you simply redeem the code from the console and the download of the game should start.
