    The last 4 days has made me want to swap to Sony


    When I got my Xbox One in November everything was great, never once had any sort of issue other than having trouble learning my way around the gui.

    Then came Christmas day! every tom, ***, and harry got themselves a Xbox One for Christmas and the XBL servers became unstable and have been pretty much useless since then.

    The last 4-5 days now I have been kicked off XBL about 10 times a day, each time XBL is completely gone, ( play an offline game and you risk getting kicked the moment live comes back to update it )

    While I am happy to pay to use xbl servers I do feel however that they aren't worth a penny in their current state and I would like some compensation to cover January until now, I would also like to know how many more games Nintendo didn't want for their
    Nes that you have lined up to give us as Games with Gold?

    I have been using Xbox live since 2002 and now in this generation I feel I have made a mistake and should have gone with the competition, Is there anything on the horizon to make me stay with Xbox? Server upgrades? firmware updates? ANYTHING???

    How long do AA batteries last in the Xbox One controller?

    I just use rechargeable aa batteries and they last about 4 days

    Before i have to swap out for fresh ones.

    PGR 4 servers?

    Seeing this post a couple of days ago has made me want to play the game again. So i did last night and fondly remembered just how good it was.

    So i don't get any xbox live service with my xbox live gold, i don't get any support from xbox live support team who should be here answering these posts.

    Does anybody feel like giving me £50 for absoloutely nothing?? I sure could use it

    Hi Blighty! Let me ask, are you living in any kind of situation where other Xboxes are connecting to your router (wired or wirelessly?) Or, is it possible that anyone in your household got any new electronics at Christmas that could be accessing the network
    equipment, which weren't before? That is the only thing I can think of that would suddenly cause you to be being disconnected from Live multiple times a day - I play daily, and aside from the Denial of Service attack at Christmas where no one could log in,
    I've never actually been unable to log into Live, and I've never been disconnected in the middle of a session. It's odd that the start of your disconnects is coinciding with the holidays.

    Basic question, but do you have all of the necessary ports forwarded for your Xbox One? If not, this can also cause connection issues.

    I preordered xbox one but

    I've heard multiple stories that Sony was doing the same thing and backed out last minute to put it to MS. Here's an alternative view. MS made this decision because they want to advance to digital. This is what publishers ultimately want. If that's the case,
    then at the end of the day, Sony will either introduce a similar system as MS' or publishers will start pulling out of developing games for Sony. Don't think they can? Ask Nintendo.
