THe light one the kinect dims. sometimes it blinks. is that normal?

Buying an Xbox one

pc's, laptops, tablets, phones all have camara's, and i bet all the people moaning about kinect have one of these devices.

i see this as no different if they are paranoid about kinect should they not be paranoid about other devices that can track where they are to the cm as well as having a mobile camara?

Hey,

the kinect has a ambient light sensor in it so the light dims depending on how dark the room is.

As for the light blinking, I think you mean the white light next to the lens, I am almost certain that flashes on when the camera is active/doing something/tracking you etc.

Did you try cleaning the touch sencers that turn off the console such as the power button or eject button. There may be fingerprints that are on them activating the sencers

All they need to do is fix the kenect sencer. Otherwise it would of been not so bad
