    The inputs for @ and " are mixed up on my xbox one chatpad. Is there a way to fix this?


    Ever since I bought the Xbox One Chatpad for my controller, the input of the @ and " symbols have been mixed up. I can't find any way to fix it. I feel like I've tried evertyhing. Could someone here help me with this issue, please?

    Chatpad stops game audio

    My turtle beach headphones don't seem to work with my chatpad connected - i get chat audio but no game audio.

    They work perfectly without the chatpad attached.

    I have followed the troubleshooting on All About the Xbox One Chatpad with no success.

    I have made sure that the game volume is turned up both on the console and chatpad.

    Is this an issue that anyone else has had? is there a Fix? or do I have to unplug my headphones and plug in the chatpad anytime I want to type (very annoying)? or is my chatpad faulty?

    Don't waste your money on a chatpad. The One supports USB keyboards for text input and they can be picked up for a fraction of the price of a chatpad.

    I'm sorry to hear about these issues stemming from the chat pad for Xbox One that you are purchasing from Best Buy. I understand your frustration not being able to talk to a live person and get good customer support. I'll provide the best way to navigate
    through the support website to get in line to request a call back from a live representative.

    1. Contact us here
    2. Select My account
    3. Say No thanks to the virtual agent
    4. Select Error Messages and codes.
    5. Select show contact options and go to step 4
    6. Select request a callback from support

    Explain to them the situation and they should be able to help you with a replacement.

    I contacted Xbox Support and they just kept referring me to the website but would not let me speak to a live person. I tried Microsofts Customer Service and they just kept telling me to use the same useless site, which doesn't help at all.

    Xbox and MSFT have the WORST Customer Support. They sell you garbage and then they hide so you cant speak with anyone.

    I'm done with these garbage products and horrible service.

    Apparently, something as simple as just making a chatpad that works is just too difficult for MSFT to do.

    I've already exchanged it through the retailer (BestBuy). Both have the same issue. I don't want to keep going back and forth over and over.

    Thank you for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. It sounds like the product may be from another region especially because it works like normal when in Spanish setting. I would recommend checking to see if there are any warranty options
    available
    Getting your Xbox console or Kinect sensor serviced    . You may also want to see about
    Contacting Xbox Customer Support and see if a representative can give you any further options.
