The HOT MIC #pandemic apocalypse: Why are communications VIA party chat, (& everywhere in...

360 default headsets never picked up any background noises what-so-ever; period. It was a cheap a headset as well. Sometimes it was a lil quiet compared to more expensive mics and some mumblers had to take the foam mic cover off, (it's called a dead cat)
but that is preferable to the insane waste of existence that is the current pandemic lvl noise pollution. How in the holy bleeping bleep, does the industry fail so hard in this regard? Shouldn't microsoft just give us the ability to turn up the volume of an
individual in the party chat to deal with a quiet mic, rather than make every mic overly sensitive? Should clear, noise pollution free coms be more of a priority than high quality/insane omni-directional, 'pick up every mouse fart in a 30 ft radius'?

(separate issue about redundant waste of all your customers time; while still being the same issue)...

The quarrel app? What is the deal!!!? 2-3 years and still crashes or doesn't work in any way at all? Look, discord has some great settings that can help deal with varying mic volume lvls but if Microsoft doesn't just make a headset that is functional AND the
industry doesn't seem to care or be competent enough to address this then Quarrel/Discord is not going to CURE this pandemic.

Look here, Microsoft; we know you can produce a mic that works, (360 default headset, for example) combined with individual gain adjustments inside party chat ACTUALLY fixes the 5+ years of annoying hell that has become the "accepted norm".

Other miserable nonsensical redundant wastes of time that come this are the annoying responses I always get from "people" when I confront them about their habitual noise pollution, they respond with the following, pretty much every time,.. (you know, instead
of just fixing their mic, buying one that isn't insanely annoying or just stay muted and listen while those who actually went out of their way not to be annoying to the entire gaming community enjoy clean chat)...

Yeah, obviously; 95% of the the players on xbox and on PC are hot mic'n, so they don't take the time to call each other out on that; they just ghost you. I can't believe Microsoft would make it MY job to tell people of this basic stuff. As if Microsoft can't
educate the community?

2. "You're too sensitive" (#AdHominem/deflection)

No, I say "calming" (& at this point I desperately try to hold onto my sanity & not verbally abuse this hypothetical person while I fantasize self harm to finally be free of this misery) this is the industries fault but it is your responsibility.

Then of course the hypothetical, infantile "adult" says, "Well, nobody else says anything so this is a you problem and I will just go back to my standardless "friends" parties & you can play alone, in your echo chamber & then it's 'so much for multiplayer gaming;
if you can't communicate', (bad for the industry & the state of our minds from a sociological/psychological perspective. Divided. Encourages anti-social personality traits). Creates arguments also, when we should be burning through content and buying more
games; instead, here I am; wasting my life; only to be ignored or trolled.

3. "I will adjust mic monitoring." sigh.. it's not what you think it is & then they start talking about adjusting their mic's sensitivity,... As if that is a thing?
