    Hey all, Just wanted to quickly get on the forum here to let more people know of this legend... A man named Trey has become the new legend to the halo music by combining so many different aspects of it all! Check him out and get him a job at 343!

    Halo 4: What's Up

    I think 343 Studios have a tough time ahead with Halo 4. I mean, on the one hand they can't change things too much otherwise they'll compromise their core audience, but on the other hand they really need to try and make Halo 4
    their game. They need to try and stamp their personality on to the series and bring their own unique feeling to the franchise, otherwise they're going to find themselves being continously compared to Bungie, which isn't right because they aren't Bungie.

    I'm looking forward to it. I'm not excited, just looking forward to it. I had a lot of fun with Halo Reach, but Halo 3 didn't do it for me and neither did ODST, so hopefully Halo 4 will feel different to get my interest back in the series.

    I don't want a sandbox Halo game. There really is no need to jump on the bandwagon of a current trend. The series needs to be innovative.

    @ Dante, I agree, his music really did enhance the Halo experience, and it really showed how good they were in Halo 3 ODST, the music and that game were perfectly matched, the game was not the best Halo, but the music was perfect.

    That all depends on what I am playing. In multiplayer, music can be a distraction to your surroundings. I do like to rock out some Pantera, Disturbed or A7X to CounterStrike though. Forza is also a great example of a game that goes well with custom soundtracks.
    On the single player side of things, background music tends to take away from what's going on. To me its like watching a movie while listening to the radio. I can only really appreciate the in game music such as the Halo series very epic music score.

    I've played all the main halo games.

    I think 3 is my favorite.

    I really need to go back and replay the Halo series. I vaguely remember those game.

    I'd welcome a remake/reboot of the series. Played a bit of the original one and really enjoyed it.
