The Grid Autosport Sprint and Touring Legends packs will not download.

Hello all.

I just wanted to say that I got The Road & Track pack to download this morning.

Sorry to hear about your save file Deadman. Ya know, you can make a copy for this particular save file.

Perhaps now is a good time for folks to try and download the two packs that are still giving us problems.

I havnt purchased the Touring Lengends pack, but if someone gets it to download let me know, thanks.

It looks like all packs are working ok, but i guess time will tell.

We still need a confirmation from Microsoft though.

 

How do I copy my save file?

 

I always keep "Backup files for games that allow it. For some reason you cant do this with some games.

Basically you just go to the harddrive or built in flash memory and copy selected files to another source.

You can do this also using a xbox compatible flash drive/stick or a "formatted" flash drive of youre choice.

Be warned,...some media/content like dlc and replays for games like forza cannot be copied to a flashdrive.

One other note as I made this mistake several years ago.

If you choose the option "Copy All" , make sure you manually count the items in whatever destination drive you are using. Some files for certain games will not be copied . If this happens you will get a message saying so and progress will be stoped.However
the xbox will not tell you which files were successfully transfered and which ones are still left on the original drive. I lost data before like this. You have to check before you delete anything.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there's another problem. The Sprint pack is unuseable. I loaded up GRID Autosport and could not use my saved game as the messaage said my save file was corrupt. After looking at the problem, I've determined that the
Sprint pack is the problem. Without it, the game is fine, but with it, I cannot use my save file.

 

Oh man, DEADMAN. That's not cool. Let's see if you've tried a few things before I pass this information along.

• Is your save file on
  Xbox Cloud Storage? If yes, please move it to a hard drive or USB flash drive. If not, please move it over to the Cloud Storage.
  
• Are the DLC packs on a USB flash drive or the Xbox's hard drive? Same thing as above; if it's on a USB, please move it to the hard drive and if it's on the hard drive, please move it to a USB.
  
• If the above doesn't work, please try removing the Sprint pack for me, then downloading something else, like a free item or demo. Download the Sprint pack again and attempt to launch up your saved game.
  

Please let me know the results of these. This will help me narrow down the issue.

If anyone else is having this problem, please post up in here! This will give me a good idea about the impact of this problem and if we may need to look into this further.

 

I did remove the Sprint pack. The save file works fine now. I think there may still be a problem with the Sprint pack.
