HB Studios Announces The Golf Club Collector's Edition

Complete with new features

Fans of HB Studios' The Golf Club are in for a bit of a treat, depending on how you look at things.

The downloadable title, which did quite well under review and which was released at a pretty premium price, will be getting a physical release in April, in the form of The Golf Club: Collector's Edition.

All of the features of the existing release will be part of the pack, including the Greg Norman Course Designer, and all of the free updates that have been released so far. However, a new "Season Mode" feature - something the game was always desperately
crying out for - will be included too, allowing players to move up through the ranks across five different tours, playing against 48 AI opponents who can and will progress to challenge them over and over again as they improve.

A collectible e-book will be included, too.

But what if you've already paid good money for The Golf Club and don't want to buy the Collector's Edition, which is the same game but with a season mode attached?

Well, HB Studios are making the season mode exclusive to the retail release for a few weeks and after that, you can download it for the digital version that you shelled out for last year, for what is expected to be around the $10 mark (according to one of
the game's producers.)

It sure is fun being an early adopter, is it not? Hopefully, fans of the game won't be too teed off.

So far I've seen the obvious Knife and Police Baton sold in Ammunation stores, the Crowbar and Baseball bat found laying on the ground in various locations around the map, and the Golf Club you get from playing golf or killing an NPC at the golf course
who's holding one. Then of course the Hammer found in Ammunation stores all the way to the right on the upper gun racks as part of the Special/Collector's Editions' DLC.

The full shield indicates that the player is the leader of a car club.

The shield with a line through it indicates that the player is a co-captain of a car club.

EA is finished with golf, and The Golf Club now has the PGA license
