What a difference the patch has made !! Started career again and can actually control the gokarts !!

 

Yhea the sound bug is still a pain, hopefully they'll get that fixed soon

Enzo, even using the wheel for me some of the cars are a right pain to drive. Currently in a series with the old touring cars and I really have to turn the wheel to get them to turn and if you put your foot down too early you spin straight out, it's a pain
but a good challenge at the same time

You should try and join in one of the race nights either tonight or tomorrow

Gutted i missed the race on Thurs. Whens the next one and where can i keep up to date with the info?

 

They really need to add the option of random grids to online games, without having to go through a qualifying session. It is a little boring having all the real players automatically placed at the front of the grid.

 

I really do love Project Cars. I struggled with it massively at first trying to get the assists just right between too hard and too easy but got there now and really thoroughly enjoying the game.

However, has anyone else had this problem that I seem to get at least once a day? When racing single player, I'll complete the first lap and it just wont register that I've crossed the line and my position in the race
will be last. Its really infuriating cause sometimes I dont notice it until I get to the last lap and end up having to start the whole race again.

 

I am really trying to find the sweet spot with all the settings, but I do feel that it is one of those games that the more you put into it the more you get out.

I have not really ventured online yet, as I still seem to get the odd occasion where the car seems to go off and nothing I seem to do changes where it is going. Still a few moments where I want to pull my hair out.

I have seen a few races online with the gentleman's race club, some really good racing.

I must admit that I have not come across the issue of it not registering the laps during races.

 

Strange then cause it happens all the time for me. When I start every race now I'm automatically checking that the position changes as I go through the field otherwise its obviously a re-start.

Racing in the Formula series right now. I REALLY love the open wheel cars, they are basically what the F1 games should have been! I am having loads more fun with them than I've ever had on the F1 games.

 

Anyone got good settings for the controller they can post ?

 

Are the races still happening ?
