    Are you trying to sign in your account with the gamertag?

    And are you trying to sign in on an Xbox console or on a Windows PC?

    as above said, you entered the code on YOUR gamertag, using it on a different gamertag doesn't work.

    banned child account on family account.

    in the help it says you can remove a gamertag from the family and it reverts to free live account. but it doesn't work if the gamertag is banned?
