    The Gamer Tag name in my son's Xbox profile is not my sons!!!


    We've gone onto my microsoft accounts and under the Xbox account the Gamer Tag name isn't one we recognise. Its not my son's.

    My son's gamer tag is his name. Has someone tried to take ownership of the account perhaps?

    I've changed the passwords for both our Microsoft accounts but what else should we do?

    xbox one s profiles (family (adult-who occassional plays and 2 children who play)

    Hi.

    So the gamer tag associated with my email (the adult) is there to stay or can I delete that gamer tag and create my own? Then I could create a new profile for son #1 and a new gamer tag.

    I have figured out/created a new profile and gamer tag for son #2.

    So I would like to:

    change the gamer tag that is connected to my email account (the adult).

    If possible I would like to keep my son's gamer tag and just move it to the email account/profile I created for him... (I'm pretty sure you said I couldn't do this but just checking?

    no my sons account is still secure to his console no one has accessed it.. but when we look af RFD LORDK1LLERZ profile it shows my sons name and gamer score and pic?

    very odd .. i am just about to remove the my sons tags off each friend list and then re add my sons to eachother and see if that fixes it.,. i think where RFD done a tag change while in a party its glitched out somehow
