The gamepad is synchronized with the adapter, but the PC only sees the adapter

Yesterday I purchased a game controller X BOX ONE, a charger and a network adapter for wireless connection on a PC. And the gamepad and adapter safely downloaded the driver from 1 time. The gamepad works safely with the help of a wire that was included with
the charger (while charging the battery), but when wirelessly used, the PC does not see it. That is, it is synchronized with the adapter - the bulbs on both devices stop blinking and continue to burn constantly, but the gamepad does not work at all. The PC
sees it disconnected. You can neither configure nor remove the device. Nothing. The funniest thing is that if you turn off the adapter, the gamepad will start flashing and soon turn off. I have already tried many things. All articles and tips on your site!
Help please, really want to play without the wire!

    :)

Xbox One Wireless Adapter only works after USB reconnect on Win10

hi guys, just wanna share my findings,

i notice the bug or issues occurs when u pair your pad with the wireless adapter then either shut down your pc or rebooted while your game pad is still paired and power on.

so the next reboot your adapter will have either two problems,

    1. Disconnect halfway during gameplay then unpairable

2.Adapter failed to detect by windows

    Temp solution

    Remove your adapter, reboot windows,

plug it back, pair your gamepad . Once pair, manually turn off the pad by holding the HOME button , then reboot.

And it should pair perfectly on next reboot when u power on your gamepad, but REMEMBER !!

NEVER TURN OFF YOUR PC WITH THE GAMEPAD PAIRED AND POWER ON, TURN OFF THE PAD MANUALLY before power off your pc or reboot

I been playing with mine for a week , no issue so far. Good luck , hope microsoft fix this soon.

    xbox adapter driver = latest

    xbox gamepad firmware = latest

windows = 64bit anniversary patch + latest updates

  4. The gamepad is synchronized with the adapter, but the PC only sees the adapter

    Hey there, Hntsmn!

I'm sorry to see any issues with a wireless adapter on your PC! Did you purchase the

official Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows
, or did you purchase a third-party adapter? I know you stated you have tried all articles, but I have to ensure that you've tried our

Troubleshoot the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows
article, as this calls out a ton of troubleshooting.

Lastly, are you able to connect to your PC via a Bluetooth connection? The controllers support a Bluetooth connection to PCs, and you can see how to do this on our How
to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows PC
    article.

Let me know these answers, and we'll see where to start from there. The gamepad is synchronized with the adapter, but the PC only sees the adapter :) I look forward to working with you!

Good afternoon. All the advice from these sections I have already tried. Reinstall the driver for the gamepad and adapter, insert the adapter into other devices. The gamepad is synchronized and the lamp is on continuously, and when I unplug the adapter it
starts flashing. But with all this it does not work - the PC does not see it and in games too! I watched a lot of videos on YouTube and nobody has such problems.

  6. Thanks, Hntsmn! I appreciate the clarification. The gamepad is synchronized with the adapter, but the PC only sees the adapter :)

Are you able to confirm that it's the official adapter that I linked to above? I just want to make sure we're working with the same device. If it is, you will want to get it replaced through our
Device Support page. If not, you would need to go through the manufacturer for assistance, but I cannot guarantee that a replacement from them will work.

XBOX ONE controller will not work on Windows 10 PC

There must be a problem on your side because I'm using an Xbox ONE Elite gamepad, with a USB cable. I have it connected to a PC and it works fine for me. I don't use the gamepad wirelessly on Xbox or PC. If you are using a USB adapter for your gamepad,
try plugging the adapter into another USB. Or check for updates.
