    The game I ordered has not come through on to my xbox


    I bought Civilisation off of Amazon, redeemed the code online and now the game has not appeared on my xbox. I've changed my settings to allow remote installation but this doesn't seem to have worked.

    Can someone please help? I tried chatting with one department who couldn't help and then the games department's call me back function says it "cannot connect me" inexplicably.

    If you navigate to your Games and Apps and look at the left, do you see it updating/downloading in the queue?

    Are you sure you got the Xbox version and not PC or something else?

    You can request a free call-back by signing on at
    https://support.xbox.com/contact-us and selecting Billing. When prompted to speak to a virtual agent, decline it. After answering a few more
    questions, you should get the option to request a callback.

    Are you sure you redeemed the code on the correct account?

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
    Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
    Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    Even if the game didn't start downloading on its own you should be able to install it from your Games and Apps. It should be listed under Ready to Install. You can also check the game in the Xbox store and it should say that you own it and can install
    it from there.
