The game doesn't appear in my Windows Library

I preordered the game in September before it was announced to be an XPA title, and now I own it on my Xbox One but when I go to download it onto my computer it does not even recognize that I own it. It just asks if I want to purchase it.

Are games that I've downloaded to my Xbox via my Xbox Game Pass subscription, but have not bought, supposed to be included in the "My Library" list in the Microsoft Store app on my PC?

Why, then, do games that I downloaded via my Xbox Live Gold subscription appear in my library in the Microsoft Store app for Windows 10?

 

Movie purchased on Xbox 360 does not appear in Xbox Video app on W8

I recently purchased a movie through Xbox Video on the Xbox 360 but the movie does not appear in my library in the Xbox Video app for Windows 8.

Is there any way to make the movie appear in my library?

 

On your Windows 10 PC, games will appear in “My Library.” on the Xbox app. Have you double checked there?

 

I have the same issue. Mind you I had the game installed but pc crashed and I needed to do a reset on it. Now I don't see it in my library on my pc and in the windows store it says to buy instead of download. Have been playing on the xbox till this mess
is resolved. Windows store really need attention lots of issues installing games lately for me always some new errors coming up. Actually spoke with support which stated that it hasn't been made into a play anywhere title yet on pc and that's why you cant
download it, I then let them know that I had been playing it on pc since launch so I'm sure your wrong about that. The response was oh...... let me research this further ><

 

I opened a ticket as well. It has been escalated. Hopefully they fix it soon!

 

Hey guys!

Even if you purchased the game before the Play Anywhere announcement, you should still have access to the game. Remember that the game is available through the Windows Store and not Steam.

Please all double check that your version of Windows 10 is fully updated and has the Anniversary update. Next, when you open the Windows store, make sure that you're signed into the same Microsoft account that made the purchase for the game initially. If
you are signed into a different account, you will be prompted to purchase the game.

Check those and post back and let us know if that helped or not.

 

It's not showing as owned on the website version of the store even. Pretty sure this is a server side issue.

 

I'm having the same issue as well. Couldn't launch the game so I uninstalled it. Now it doesn't give me the option to reinstall, only buy. Windows 10 is fully updated and I'm logged into the account I purchased the game on. I was able to play on PC for
about the 1st week, but haven't been able to since.

 

think I fugures out what's going on seems there are two version of resident evil 7 on the windows store, the one we have or rather had is the one that says resident evil 7 then has Japanese characters underneath the title , when I see that one in the store
I see install but it's greyed out. And the one that we keep seeing when we search the store is the version that says resident evil 7 biohazard and has capcom underneath the title. That's the one that keeps saying to buy instead of install and it's what's linked
in the xbox and windows store. So somebody at capcom or Microsoft totally screwed this up, probably best option get a refund and buy again on the bed store links. If you wanna see what I mean go to the store app on pc then my library the next scroll down
to what's can't be installed on this pc you'll see the Xbox console version there click that then click the pc version of the game and you'll see the greyed out install option .
