    Hi all, sorry if this seems an old issue, but I have read tons of stuff about this and still no luck,

    Had 360 for a few years. Never gone on line or downloaded games. Played Minecraft since xmas - no problem. Started playing the other day -

    "The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again"

    There is no HDD, all data saved to a USB stick. I was advised to try downloading updates, so we connected her and let her tick away. I have cleared the cache (whatever that is!!). Re-booted (holding right trigger and Y)

    Still the same problem.

    All other games work fine.

    Please help

    So potentially it may be the end for my xbox?

    Game couldn't start Try downloading the game again

    Whenever I try recovering my gamertag I constantly get this message! I tried formatting my hard drive and clearing the system cache but neither do anything. How do I get rid of it and recover my profile?

    That's a good one for the phone support team, most likely it's related to your storage device and a format may not have been enough if it's failing.

    Like I said, I'd call support. It may be the end for the memory unit - not necissarily the console itself.
