I sent a game as a gift via the xbox store. It says that the code has already been redeemed on 03/2/2021. Today is 03/1/2021. So I would like to know why it can't be redeemed

Hi I just added $15 gift card to Xbox live and I’m trying to buy game pass but I entered the number on the gift card for game pass to redeem but it says it’s already redeemed

I also purchased a $50 Xbox gift card and when I tried to redeem the code it says it was already redeemed. I've tried the troubleshooting method and contacting the store I purchased it from via email and I have yet to get a solution. I'm "glad" someone else is having this issue.

Hello Tom, when you say you've already tried to redeem your Gift Card online does it mean you tried through the Xbox website and couldn't?

If so, have you tried using other internet browsers?

Bought from the Microsoft online store should be easy and trackable to contact their support. They should be able to see who redeemed this if it was a valid code at one point and someone else had done it and get you a new code. My understanding is that
the codes are generated and only available for entry as soon as the purchase goes through so - did you have this code purchased since like Christmas or a long time ago that would allow someone else to enter this code?

You want to talk to the people that you bought the code from. Or you can try entering it in again.
