    The Future of Discord and Xbox


    So now that Xbox finally supports Discord voice chatting (Thank God for that). I have a couple of questions regarding how this will work out in the future and improve. Though this is a fairly new feature, are there any plans to continue updating Discord for Xbox players? If so, are the teams at Discord and Xbox planning on making it quicker and easier to join discord chats and calls from Xbox without having to use a mobile device to transfer the call? Finally, do you ever see a Discord app being added to the Microsoft store so Xbox players can join voice chats and calls from the app and they can access their discord channels straight from their Xbox?

    Why am I running into a relink my discord loop while trying to join a voice chat?

    Hello! I know this is.. several months in the future, but I'm having the identical problem to this. My Xbox is repeatedly telling me I need to "relink" my account. Discord thinks everything is perfectly fine, it's only having issues when I try to transfer it to Xbox. I've relinked my account through the prompt, manually disconnected and reconnected my discord through the Xbox, and I've even manually disconnected and reconnected my discord through the discord app. Any suggestions? - as this is very frustrating to deal with.

    RESPECTFULLY REQUEST:

    as others have said, they could download the xbox app on their pc/phone etc, or you could try using skype for now? as that will be on all devices too.

    Hopefully discord will appear in the future.

    I understand you have a question about in game voice chat and discord voice chat.

    For now, we do not have that feature yet on the console since you will be using the party chat for discord to your Xbox. They cannot be mixed with each other unfortunately. There has also been no announcement yet regarding updating this in the future but feel free to provide suggestions on the Xbox idea hub.
