7-8 tb seems like pushing it now, but think back to early last gen when 60 gb was more than enough and 500 gigs was unfathomable...i'm just wondering what will be this generations 500 gigs.

I think we will see 1-2tb consoles this gen but 7-8 is pushing it.

@Black Wolf - Your saves auto back up to the cloud and you can redownload anything you buy stays attached to your account. The big bummer would be redownloading ALL that content you'll accumulate.

I wish Microsoft released an official External drive.

I think storing your games on your external is like storing your games on the internal... if you delete the game or if your system crashes and is "irretrievable" from the HD it is still on the cloud. So it is not GONE.
