The Forza Forums are run VERY badly.

Hey guys,

So I voiced my opinion on the game, saying that the head of Turn 10 talking about being shocked at the fans reaction was stupid. He can't expect us to get a game with bugger all tracks (some which you can't use the versions of on freeplay, airport gymkhana
*cough* *cough*) and bugger all cars. And then charge us to have the same cars that we paid for on Forza 4!

So anyway, I was banned 'temporarily', until 2041!

Does anyone know why they ban people for having an opinion? and who I can chat to, to sort it out?

Yeah it does especially with Forza! Also the dash-board judders badly.

I've run dozens of races on Forza 5 without an issue. What league/division are you trying to race in? Some are very empty and that could be the problem rather than a connection issue.

 

The Turn 10 Thought Police have been banning people from their forums for voicing "unpopular" opinions for years now...love 'em or leave 'em, not much you can do.

 

...and yet there is a 12-page thread going right now talking about problems with the game that Turn10 employees are actively participating in. I don't see people getting banned from that thread!?(forums.forzamotorsport.net/turn10_postst14805_Community-Interaction---A-message-for-Turn-10.aspx)

@by9 - Did you get banned from the forums, or in the game? If it's the forums - I don't understand. You haven't posted in 3 months and I don't see anything from the past posts that would have gotten you banned from the forums. ...unless you made a recent
post that was so offensive that it was immediately deleted and you got banned. If it's in the game - it's likely because you have an offensive livery or because you were intentionally crashing into people or because you were caught glitching/cheating.

 

No cheating, no foul play, just said how angry I was because of the crap that was going on with little info. It's disgusting!

 

You can be upset about something without becoming angry. I'm willing to bet when you shared your complaints that you weren't exactly cordial about it...

 

I doubt that trolling and repeated defamation of Turn 10 really helped you.

 

You bet wrong, I saved it for reference to Turn 10 when I find a way to contact them. Trolling? Defamation? no no.

Now that's just stuff I can find in your last 10 posts. So I really doubt my guess is wrong.

 

This is why I've never really bothered with the Turn 10 forums. They are INFAMOUSLY NOTORIOUS for this stuff! I'm an opinionated guy and I say what I think. This doesn't mix well on forums like Turn 10's. When any cross thing is said, they get really bent
and I've noticed tendencies to usurp authority there.

 

Based on what I've seen from both Fyreball's post and even yours, b9y, it's clear why they (justifiably) took action against you.

 

I went there to post several issues which I consider to be broken. For example, the ability to jump out of the map in Tag/Virus, wait for everyone to be tagged then jump back in and get a gold medal. OR just stay out of the course for so long that everyone
trying to play the game has to quit the match.

I don't care if it had been posted 100 times before, this IS a pretty big issue, and seeing as it's still not fixed, I have every right to voice an opinion. I guess the little ego-trips the mods have on T10 website are beyond help. So blinded by their own
fanboyish ways...makes me kinda' glad I only bothered with this game out of the entire series...fans (over-zealous car game enthusiasts alike) like those are scary, and do more harm for a game than good.

 

Posting about that kind of thing only encourages such behavior in the community even though that may not be your intent. Instead, you'd be better off contacting the developers directly through the "contact us" link most websites will have & using that to
tell them what is broken about their game or what needs to be fixed.

 

Galactic you can stick up for them all you want, but your ignorance is truly fantastic 'wink emoticon'.

Let me just point out also, seeing as your ignorance is high at the minute, that contacting Turn 10 doesn't actually do anything mate. I've sent over 150 emails over the last 5 years. No reply yet.

But sure, I'll contact them 'wink emoticon again to show that I'm correct'.
