That actually makes a lot of sense, I forget achievements/parties etc.. didn't exist back pre-360, and the Dec 2005 sounds awfully like the 360 was my christmas present 05' lol Could be a migration over to a new system that has our dates starting then.

OMG, those images are awesome, I'm not a 2003 user, but definitely early 2005, it's changed a lot.

 

ET, to answer your question - no. I started out as Galaxy Bad@$$, because I wanted something original and cool (I got the word Galaxy from seeing the cover to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy), but I was forced to change it after someone complained to
me about it and supposedly reported it. Being a manager at the time, I changed it to Galaxy Boss, but didn't like it and soon changed it to Galaxy Geek. Some time later, I changed it to to be more grammatically correct and it has pretty much
stuck since, except for a brief 1-week intermission as Yoda Man.

 

That's how the forums were when I first signed up. I think the layout that came after, not long before the Xbox 360's launch, was probably the best this forum had.

The first time I created a thread was because I came here wanting to know how to delete Game Room off my games played list because i didnt want it any more but I had 5g from some ridiculous action like putting a chair in a room. Dont remember what I called
the thread, but I do remember the amount of abuse I got just for asking that question, even tho Id only had my xbox for a month or so and had very little idea of how any of it worked. That thread is one reason I will defend CUL 1s against snarky responses
from the CUL 7s and above no matter what they post. Im surprised I actually stayed around after that, but I did have a question about Lego Star Wars soon after which was answered nicely (Plus my 'debates'/fights/arguments with Tatakai always made me smile)

 

It was archived once upon a time. Whether it still is or not I have no idea. I don't know any link for it if it is.

 

Didn't they say at the time, it would be archived for so many months and then deleted from existence?

 

there used to be an archive of it ... not sure how to retrieve it or if it still exists.

 

Mine was asking what a Achievement was back in 2005. Just got my 360 for Christmas I was not really expecting is as I didn't actually want one until 2 weeks before Christmas so I didn't really read up about them. So when I unlocked my first Achievement on
Call Of Duty 2 I thought I had won something.

The 1st thread I personally created was back in 01 or possibly 02 about how to exploit the glitches and steal 5 Banshies, and take a whole host of sniper rifles, pistes etc with you to other loadpoints, even though 2 was the norm on Halo Combat Evolved.

I loved that stage. When the "I would have been your Daddy." Came across the screen. I shout at the TV. "I am your Daddy."
