    The February update fried my headset!


    Title explains it all! Your update fried my $200 turtle beach X12s. They were originally designed for the 360 and I'm very upset. I spent my hard earned money and you decide to mess them up! Now you got two choices, you can either replace my $200 headsets
    with brand new turtle beach X12s or you can pay me 1 million dollars when I sue the living crap outta you! And I'm not the only one who's expirencing this issue. 10 of my friends have the same issue and are looking to press legal charges as well. The symptoms
    of my fried mic are, sudden cut-outs in game audio and player voices, mic does not turn on at all, and/or other players hear severe echoes.

    My Xbox one turtle beach headset wont work since the february update, just wondering if this happening to others or my mic is broken?

    If i remember right the first time i updated my controller was back in February i had to plug in the headset that came with the console then the usb then follow the instructions the headset adapter and your headset have to be plugged in to update

    How do we update the controller? NO USB Cable comes with Xbox One.

    About updating controller, To use the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter with your Xbox One Console, you’ll need to update your Xbox One Controller with the latest software to support the Adapter.

    This is from:
    support.xbox.com/.../update-controller-for-stereo-headset-adapter

    So Titanfall controller update is done by over air, no cable, (February update) and Stereo Headset Adapter controller update you need an cable, which comes with the adapter (March update).

    New console update

    the console update has its hits and misses. Sometimes this happens when we don't want it to. For me when the september update happened it fried my external hard drive.

    UPDATE: I just found out the Turtle Beach headsets for the Xbox One were supposed to be released on February 14th, but on Gamestop.com, they mention they will be released on March 1st. So not sure what's going on with Microsoft. Turtle Beach keeps saying
    they are waiting on Microsoft to finish the adapters
