The Evil Within (My XBOX ONE)

Hi All

Not sure if its just me but I purchased The Evil Within via dashboard and it crashes on the 'Start Now' screen after the warning screen. All my other games work fine. I uninstalled and reinstalled and get the same thing.

Any thoughts?

Will MS give me a refund? Hard to prove it doesn't work.

I can download The Evil Within but I don't own it?

I was looking in My Games and Apps at the list of games I own that are ready to install and The Evil Within was there.

I never bought Evil Within, or downloaded anything related to it. I'm the only one who uses the Xbox so no one else could have downloaded it. If I view The Evil Within in the games store it say I haven't bought it.

Yet The Evil Within is in my list of games I own and I can install it right now (34.6 GB).

So is this a random bug, or did get this for free somehow?

 

360 titles on xbox one

I have several 360 titles that I see on xbox one site like the evil within, so why cant I play them on my xbox one?

 

Houston - we most certainly have a problem. Now my Advanced Warfare has lost in game sound. Title screen and cut scenes are hunky dory - start a game in any mode and its silent. Another one I purchased with a code and not a physical copy. Is there an Xbox
one virus they are not telling us about????

yes. The ones I have tried are fine. I am trying all my downloaded stuff as I type. Bit of a worry.

 

Looks to be foooked. All of the downloaded games I have tried are broken in some way shape or form. Some are stored on the internal HD some on the external. Thus far I have corrupted digital copies of Advanced Warfare (internal) No sound, The Evil Within
(External) Crashes at title, Forza 5 Crashes at title(Internal), CoD ghosts Crashes (internal). Destiny (disc) OK. Black Flag (disc) OK.

 

The same happened to me but it was all my games and the only way to sort it for me was to put the xbox back to factory settings and install everything again.

Try support first and see if they can help

 

This is brilliant......as I was stomping around telling the misses it will take me ages to reinstall my library and I will lose my saves thanks to cyber hackers my five year old daughter said "why dont you push the plug off on the wall and turn it on again.
like the sky box. then we can play peggle"
