This game is good. It does have its so called game Bugs but not in the sense you may think, limited ammo really sucks in this game and you cannot punch your way out of this horror movie but I do try to punch my way back home however, there are twist upon
twist at every corner I or you will walk down to an overwhelming reality of insanity.

With all this said, one big issue I do not like is the look stick because every time I jump I have this uncontrollable thumb pushing down on the look button which brings up the inventory screen all the time, bad thumb I say, stop doing this you are making
me die too many times LOL

I only can play in short spurts because the frustration level this game gives me brings me to my brink of saying F-It where I like to reach into the screen on my TV set and hand strangle all those evil creatures my self. However, I know I cannot do this
therefore I play in spurts in hopes I wont through my controller into my TV set screen.

Is this game worth the replay value I think so, I also think it is worth the money to buy this game if horror is your thingy. I even think Stephen King would be jolted from his chair if he ever played this game this is how good this game really is. You all
have fun playing the game, enjoy all the bumps in those hallways, and try not to die too often you may miss your own death.

 

I want this and alien isolation

 

I ended up buying this game I had 240 trad in points at game stop.

 

I think I'm going with Alien Isolation instead....at least for now. I can't seem to handle the run and hide/torture porn thing anymore.

 

On my second game play picked up Machine gun, and a RPG, a$$ kicker now..

I joined a friend's party today when another of his friends was playing The Evil Within. That kid went on non-stop about all of the different ways you could be beheaded in that game. It made me sick to my stomach just hearing about it!

 

am loving this, suprised me how much i am enjoying it, more so than alien isolation

 

I'm not gonna lie: I was expecting something great and feel like I got a piece of turd. I'm only a few chapters in but the game has failed to " suck me in". I just don't have any motivation to finish this game. The shooting mechanics are horrible as well
since even if you aim precisely at the target you can still miss. I'm bored sneaking around waiting for the enemies to turn their backs so I can sneak kill them. Should've waited for a significant price drop.

 

Great game. The first few chapters are kinda boring. But once you have a few weapons it starts playing a lot like Resident Evil 4. Which is amazing, in my opinion. There is even less ammo though, so you really need to make every shot count. My only complaint
is the lack of infinite ammo in new game+. I play through every Resident Evil like 15 or 20 times just because I have so much fun destroying everything. This game seems like it's set up for that, but it's just not there.

 

Don't you keep your powerups in the New Game Plus?

It's not as good a Survival Horror as "Alien: Isolation" but it's a different type of game. In the "Resident Evil" style and it does give the player a fighting chance.

I wasn't sure about this at first but it's a good game in the end. You spend the first part of the game finding things to complain about and by Chapter 3 you're enjoying yourself and starting to settle down.

 

Maybe I am not that far into this game, but from what I can tell, its just another zombie game in my opinion. Kind of sad, I was looking forward to a non-zombie horror game.

 

You'll be pleased to learn that it's not.

The further you get in the more you'll enjoy it.

The bosses will do stuff you are not expecting.

 

I am happy to hear that. I was looking forward to it for so long, and the it reminds me a lot of amnesia, the dark descent. One of my favorite horror games
