The Evil Within: Chapter 15 Please Help

i'm having a really difficult time with the two safe heads at the end of chapter 15. I'm really frustrated to be at the end of the game, and can't defeat them. I've tried numerous strategies and always run out of ammo or die. I have limited ammo. this is
the amount i have going into, and picking up the ammo/disconnecting the 2 bombs before the fight begins. 7 shotgun, 6 sniper, 18 handgun, 11 bolts, and no magnum. I've also tried to dismantle traps they throw out, but they are really fast. Can I defeat them
with this amount of ammo? what bolts do I need? what is the best strategy? any help will be appreciated.

I kept dismantling traps and making explosive bolts and setting traps in the corridor to left running through to other room and closing gate behind me rinse and repeat

after you kill one the floor fills up with blood so you cant use that method when there was one left i pumped all the ammo and bombs i had left into him

 

What mode are you on and are your weapons upgraded? I always used electric bolts (or w/e they're called) + shotgun and sniper on them if I didn't have magnum ammo. If your sniper and shotgun are upgraded (damage) you should have no problem with them if you
use the electric bolts and just unload on them (make sure you're close to them when using the shotgun for maximum damage). if you have enough trap parts, you can shock both of them at the same time and use explosive bolts while they're stunned.

If you're doing the no-upgrade run for the achievement and can't figure out how to beat them, I suggest reloading the chapter and stocking up on magnum ammo from the lockers if you still can.

 

Well, you don't want to kill them one by one or water fills out in the middle areas and you're limited in your movement. I would be curious to know what difficulty you're on as well as what bolts you've upgraded and if you upgraded your sniper at all?

My strategy was to make them spawn, turn around and get back up the ledge in front of the door way you would have come through. If you're quick you can get a few sniper rounds into both of them, try keep it as even as possible. Hopefully they will both get
to the ledge at roughly the same time and be standing next to each other, you can get a few explosive bolts in before they jump up as they can be pretty slow and should damage them both with 1 bolt, hopefully saying you a little ammo.

I would then jump back off the ledge and make them chase me into the middle again and repeat the process, they are really easy to dodge once you get used to their animations, sometimes the charge will catch you off guard though. I also tried to kill them
both at roughly the same time and not bother going down the hallway to the right, though it's probably whatever you feel more comfortable doing that will get you through it.

 

@DA..Indeed that charge is nasty and if they get you cornered it's an instakill set up

@DarthV..You can fire a few exploders as soon as they spawn and it's a running game from there popping exploder bolts, regular bolts and shotgun blast when given a chance but again avoid the back room as those robot saw exploders will set you up for a fail(there
is a health kit in the sink back there to pick up). I stayed in the main room they spawned in running and firing carefully not getting trapped by a spike door..which is tricky.
