The Escapists not starting

My Son purchased The Escapists yesterday, the game went through the installation ok but then stuck on the start screen, and after an hour still wouldn't start. We have our Xbox One configured for "Instant Start-up" which means that the console is never fully
shut down. I went into "Settings / Power" and changed to "Energy Saving" then shut down the console. On restart the game started normally with no further problems. We have decided to now leave the console on the "Energy Saving" setting, it really doesn't take
that long to start up anyway. Hope this helps anyone having similar problems.

Blue Rose of Illium web comic

A fantastic little web comic at the Escapist website

I thought the quest in game was a little disappointing to be honest, just another example of having the player take a passive role, but I think this fills the gap nicely.

Of course it is not an official comic but I don't think it matter in this case.

Instant On builds up a cache of information that requires the console to be power cycled every once in a while. Switching to Energy Saver is a good option.

It would be great if Microsoft made these games free in September, The Escapists, Dungeon Defenders, Sim 2, and Destiny. If they only picked one of the four up on my list make it The Escapist.

P.S. The main games I want are The Escapists, and Dungeon Defenders being backwards compatible from 360.

Looks good. I traded Skyrim but have been using KinectVoice on ME3 - works really well and immerses you in the game a little more, assuming you're a bit of an escapist to start with : )
