    The escapists game freezes when I click play and enter...


    I want to try out The Escapists while my xbox gold has it for free. Downloaded it digitally on Oct 16 but it has frozen everytime I've attempted to play. Everything seems to be going fine as it loads, but as soon as I click play and try to enter the game,
    the screen locks up and begins making staticky white noise. Doesn't do anything beyond that....is this happening to anyone else? I feel like I've tried everything already. Hope someone can help!

    unable to launch Escapist 2

    I purchased and downloaded escapist 2 yesterday. It appears in my games but I am unable to launch it. When I click on launch, it displays an image for a few seconds, then closes.

    Sorry to hear about the issue. I know you have tried some troubleshooting steps but if you haven't already, I suggest taking a look at the

    troubleshooting guide for games freezing    .Please be sure to work through the steps provided, including the network troubleshooting, and see if the issue resolves after that.

    It is on the internal drive. I do not have an external drive.

    Is the content stored on an external drive? If so could you try moving it to the internal drive of the console and see if there's any change?

    Thanks for the follow up. I did that last night, however gave it another try just now. This time I made certain to unplug everything from the back instead of just power. No luck. Same thing - freeze upon loading a new game.
