The Error 0x80830003... Again...

Hello there

So, I've been playing Fallout 4 for a lot of time (914 hours...) but since few month i was only able to play with around 5 saves because if i was saving more the error code was appearing, it was annoying but still playable.

But now i came to a point where i can't save anymore.

I have only one save, absolutely no mods, more than 500gb of free space (~100 intern, 200 and 200 on two extern drives)

Im not understanding what's happening. Maybe it's a problem of the cloud save system ?

I've already seen others peoples having this problem but i've not found a solution so... Maybe someone here can help.

This could be the result of a corrupt save file, an issue I've seen before with Fallout 4. I recommend doing some console troubleshooting, to start off with go ahead and do a

hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and
turn on the Xbox.

If that doesn't help then you will need to try out a
soft factory reset.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.

Make sure to select "Keep my games & apps" and have the correct account login information plus your WIFI password ready if you connect wireless because you will need to re-add the account's that were on the Xbox and re-connect to your network during the
reset.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I performed the power cycle a few times already with no change regarding xbox one error 0x80830003. As for the reset option, I do not have faith that our offline Minecraft worlds are synced to the cloud even though the accounts have all been online. A test proved that an offline world that was played online was then deemed worthless as any account other than the world creater’s account had empty inventories in a multiplayer world. Who would want to play without their stuff? So, I am unhappy with the reset option which is why I need to know for sure that we have our offline worlds backed up, obviously.

I find it pretty crazy that literally everyone who is helping with this xbox one error 0x80830003 is offering the exact same advice, an advanced “turn it off and back on again” method. The reset option also resembles the off and on again method albeit in a cruder package.

This xbox one error 0x80830003 is on a deeper level as it has been happening for years and Microsoft knows it. Microsoft just can’t figure out how to patch it properly, that is why this error is not listed with the other codes on their dedicated error code page and so they choose to leave it to forums, Reddit, and YouTube, etc.

Thank you for your help. I still don’t know how to make sure our worlds are backed up 100%, if we lose our best world again I may just break my Xbox into a thousand pieces and mail it to Microsoft support with 0x80830003 written on the CPU.
