    Not really sure where else to post this.

    So, I was recently banned for offensive communication through text. The person who reported me instigated a argument about me camping in a game, and his first message was "LGBT, I'm not surprised" (My clan tag on Black Ops 3 says LGBT)

    I feel that he discriminated against me first, and I responded with a message that included the word "bitch" and he immediately responded "enjoy your ban"

    He also mentioned that he has had multiple people banned for offensive text, and to me it seems he is abusing the system.

    If he is playing a rated M game and is offended by one word, that seems unfair considering he discriminated against my sexuality first.

    The enforcement system is unfair because it was an automatic ban for me, and there was no way for me to submit a case review, even though the ban was longer than 24 hours. It seems that the user knows that its an automatic system and he is abusing it for
    simple things that are not offensive, for multiple people. If I can get banned for saying "bitch", then why is he not banned for sexuality discrimination, which is much more offensive?

    I was unable to use communications on Xbox over the holiday weekend because of this gamer, and that's not fair.

    The system should not be as automatic as it was, it needs to be investigated IN CONTEXT of the other messages.

    I would really appreciate a case review to have it removed from my record, and to review the gamertag "[Mod Removed - Do not call out individuals on the forums]" for abusing the report system.

    You should log into the enforcement team website for information where you can also submit a case review if the suspension is eligible.

    yes but they doesn't have any adresses.

    this system use only players reputation and it only can go worse, what means at worse repution player is allways meaner people....and reputation is low rest of microsoft life.

    system is unfair att all.

    now I must seriously thingking at change platform...this system doesn't work and microsoft isn't god šŸ˜¢.

    thanks anyway for answer, but I have now tried find enforcement feedback link in here and in microsoft helpdesk...and maybe that kind of thing doen't have and that isn't good service at all.

    If someone sends you offensive messages all you need to do is block and report them. There is no need to respond back. It won't matter who started it. If you respond back to a message in a way that breaks the rules you agreed to when you signed up, you yourself can also face enforcement action.

    How do you know they aren't banned? You won't receive a personal message notifying you of any enforcement action taken on users you've reported. With the exemption of the automated swearing filter, enforcement actions are viewed by real people and it may take some time before any enforcement action is taken against an account that has broken the Xbox Live Terms of Use. Until that takes place you may still encounter the same user/s for a short while.

    Gamers are not jumping ship for other platforms because of Xbox Live enforcement. Sony has its own banning policy similar to Xbox as do other providers for PC gaming.

    The enforcement team investigates every report that is submitted. Those investigations take time. The suspension you were issued could have been for something that took place days, weeks or months before and it was a coincidence when you received it and
    the other person's message.

    If you feel your suspension is in error, you can submit a case review at
    https://enforcement.xbox.com as the enforcement team does not use the forums and they are the only ones who can respond to any specific enforcement actions.
