The "Enforcement" for xbox live's fundamental flaw.

Let me start this by saying I've been a member with Xbox for almost a decade. I've purchased over 1000's of dollars worth of product whether that be games, xbox live memberships, consoles, hardware and other things such as gamerpics and DLC that have been
offered over the years. I've dedicated time since my adolescence to my profile in which I've become very.. VERY closely attached to my account.

During my 8 (?) years of being connected to xbox live I've been harassed, bullied, targeted, excluded, manipulated and tormented by the community of gamers that inhabit it. I've reported these individuals in the past and nothing was done. They continued
to carry on their hateful brigade and move on. Thus I learned that if you truly wanted to avoid someone your best bet was to block them and ignore them. However it's come to my attention not once but twice that Xbox live's enforcement group knows nothing of
how the online community works and what type of malicious activities are done. So I'll go ahead and do the honors in explaining how their own report and enforcement system is being used against them.

When you play in any online environment you will have individuals who will take it upon themselves to annoy you and provoke you into anger. The named dubbed by the online community to these said individuals are "Trolls". Trolls will purposely make hateful,
vulgar and fight-provoking comments towards people to garner your anger in which they find humor from it. The best bet to avoid them as I said before is to IGNORE them otherwise called "Don't feed the troll" (yet another clever line given by the online community).
However Xbox live's enforcement team has devised a report system that gives the power to these said trolls to potentially get your account banned from communications.

Unsure how the report system can be used against you? Let me explain. You're in an online mach of any type of game.. when from out of no where someone decides to say you "suck at this game" now that alone doesn't seem much harm and truth be told it isn't.
Most peoples response is to say something negative in return, lets face it.. no one likes hearing they suck at a game. The match ends and you get a message from this person it includes vulgar language, hateful speech and otherwise horrible things that would
make anyone grind their gears. You follow up to this message with your own words and the argument gets rather heated. Now during this point a "Troll" with the report system given to us by xbox live can file a report on you and get your account banned to you
reacting to his provoking messages.

This has happened now twice to me. I accepted the punishment given to me and made it my own goal to avoid anymore arguments the first time around. However this is xbox live and there's bound to be someone out there that forces these engagements to happen.
Recently I was in another game and I was betrayed by someone for a gun, I in return killed him the next round. He quickly sent my a homophobic and bigoted message that I won't be repeating here. I was then invited to a party where I joined. As you can imagine
a argument ensued and words were said between us, I quickly learned that they were around 14-16 years old (a common age for people that troll) and decided they weren't worth the time and apologized for the things said and left. (Yes I apologized) Now that's
the only argument that I can think of that could possible have gotten me in trouble, yet why isn't the other party in trouble?

The enforcement team apparently doesn't look at other peoples words and actions and only focuses on the individual being reported. Otherwise why would I be the only one banned? I even ended it and left the chat early to avoid this very thing from happening.
I took the high road and was punished for it. What happens when someone with a large amount of loyal friends just decides to gang up on someone and have them reported several times? They all attack this person and he responds in suit? It's a system that's
giving the power to the malicious users and endangering the ignorant and gullible users (many younger players).

I've browsed several other forum pages, complaints and talked to several representatives and everything leads to one simple answered. The report system is flawed. What's that? You say I should block these people? Good idea except the fact that it's broken,
blocking a person doesn't mean they can't join your games, parties or send you invites. I have someone threatening me that they're going to fight me in real life and I've done everything I can to make it so they can't talk to me but still to this day they
stalk my account? I'm asking that the enforcement team reaches out to me and contacts me, I want to explain in detail how this can be used against the same community they're trying to help. If you've been a victim towards something similar to this then please
speak your piece here; the only way this issue will be tackled is if we all express our concern.

:)

The xbox live code of conduct
Maybe one possible solution is MICROSOFT or TREYARCH could have some people from the gaming community watch for these violations
XBOX Live's Policy Enforcement Team not only handles reports, they also play games in order
to monitor behavior.
Heh, no. All one has to do is look at the Ambassador program to see where something like that would go.

The OP's suggestion is fundamentally flawed and encourages even less creativity within the series than there already is.

Xbox one controller cuts out/disconnects

I honestly don't believe the people who say they fixed the issue. I think this is a fundamental flaw in the hardware/wireless protocol of the XB1. Microsoft should be ashamed.
