No news on Xbox ONE yet but a "PlayStation Plus membership is not required to play The Elder Scrolls Online. PS4 players will only be required to pay the same monthly subscription associated with The Elder Scrolls Online that PC and Mac users will pay—nothing
more". Microsoft are under pressure to match Sony on this now.

Interesting......but who actually doesn't have Xbox live anyway? It's highly likely that anyone picking up this game will already have an xbox live subscription.

 

It's not a big deal to me either but the longest thread in this forum is about paying for LIVE on top of your game subscription so obviously some players have an issue with it. I'm more interested in how they have decided to split the US and EU then that
personally.

 

That's true! I just read an article on joystiq that they have confirmed that Xbox Live will be required to play ESO.

 

I just want to know if I have to choose between US and EU servers like they have to on PS4 now. I don't see the point in splitting the Xbox megaserver into two like they are doing with the PS4 servers.

 

The official word is there will be an American one and a European one but you shall be allowed to choose which one you join so you can play with friends.

 

Guess I will be playing on US servers then. Hopefully they have one in California because that's where we get the best ping from here in Asia/Pacific.

 

Who buys an Xbox one or a Playstation 4 and doesn't have live/p+? I wish people would just let microsoft do their thing.

Cool. It's nice they give you the freedom to play either server. I couldn't help myself today. Went out and brought the 3 days early access for PC. Should be able to get a few levels up on everyone before they open the servers up to the crowd. Just need
to get a full version of FRAPS now so I can record it for Youtube.
