Not every game with a story has an ending. Street Fighter has a story but that game has no ending. It ends when you take the disc out of the tray.

    -

You do not learn a games depth from reading some text on screen or an instructional manual. You can't even learn a games depth within months if its a well made competitive game. “Dozens of hours" lol.

So, I don't understand why it is bad to say there was a drought on the Xbox One. I love mine, but I do think that only 3 games being released in over 2 months (all 3 download only, btw) could be considered a drought. Now, that says nothing about the quality
of the games released in those 2 months, or anything at all about the ones released before that, just says there wasn't a big quantity of games released.

  3. So because I did not play GOW I'm an average gamer. NO.... I'm personally saying games like "max, spartan assault, crimson dragon" and any other title I have played are good games because normally I would not play them but since the games are limited I
ended up buying them and hey what do you know. I thought they were good for what they are.

Oh and btw there were a few more than 3 games available to d/l over the last 2 months.

    Max

    Halo

    Crimson

    Loco

    Tomb

    Angry birds

    Zoo tycoon

    A fighter within

    Kinect sports pre season (free)

I'm sure I'm forgetting something... That just tripled your number alone

Listed, was that first reply to me? Because I honestly have no idea how I said anything about GOW, or you being an average gamer, or anything. If not, I am sorry for my confusion.

As to your 2nd point, All of those games except Max, Halo, and Tomb Raider (also Peggle, which was not listed) were launch titles. There were 22 or so games released on 11/22, and then 3 (not counting Tomb Raider, since the OP listed that in his slate of
new releases) games released in the 2+ months since then. So yes, there was a new game RELEASE drought, which was all I was saying.

It's obvious you and I don't live on the same gaming planet.

The Last of Us is a game with a story, Street Fighter? I don't even know what to say to that.

You play twitch games and as I said your definition of depth is very different than mine, Go play a Sid Meier game, Europa Universalis, Sub Command and then come back here and tell me you don't learn a games depth by reading a manual or text on a screen.

Go play the games I mentioned ( Bioshock, Deadspace, GoW ) and then take another look at the games you say are good (Spartan Assault, Max, Crimson Dragon).

Your definition of a good game will probably change. If you enjoy those games that's great but my point was that if your playing those games before playing the classics on the 360 then you're missing out.

I agree with op. There are a number of games available but I still check the marketplace at least once a week to see if anything new has come out. I guess I am picky about my games because I get bored with them quickly. I have actually bought games I never
would have considered purchasing but was bored and didn't really see anything that interested me. Surprisingly I enjoyed zoo tycoon except for the stupid limit they put on you regarding how many buildings you can have.

I'm then again trying to hold off from buying all those games I'd want to from the marketplace The drought is over....! :p As a uni student the budget is a bit tight, so for now I try to save for the big games I just must have, right now mostly Thief and Titanfall The drought is over....! :p

    .

I'm not anywhere near done playing Ryse yet, as I enjoy the MP and doing the SP on legendary now, but I did list it on this local internet auction to fund future games The drought is over....! :p

A good game is game that you like to play,no more no less....And good games doesn't always need a story....

I like Bioshock and spent 10-15 hours on it.

I like Forza 5 and already spent + 100 hours on it....

Both are good.....At least for me.

Just a question of taste i guess.....
