The best thing about that is decent loot drops in the DZ zone. I was fed up of constantly getting gear score of 163 dropping, so could never improve my character.

 

its a shame the levelling system is a load of tosh.. ive got 2 weapons that are gear score 182, yet my 163 weapons give me far better stats in terms of dps, health etc..

At least in destiny you knew what you were aiming for

 

I agree with you there Bakez - its frustrating, but still, early doors. hopefully things will improve as the year goes by and the dlc is released.

 

I actually think the possible 240 drops in the DZ is really silly, it makes the incursion redundant to an extent.

The patch might fix things short terms, but i doubt it will be rock solid and will suffer again on the next dlc, it might even fall short this time if you need higher level stuff for the challenging incursion, in which case the 240 gear drops will be pointless
again.

 

Not really. You will need a high gear score for this next incursion which is more difficult then the current one. 240 gear right now is impossible for 90% of players to obtain, and I'm not sure if you've run the Challenge incursion as yet, but you need high
level gear to complete it, running it with 193/214 gear is possible, but insanely difficult. So it makes sense they make them easier to obtain, plus, you actually need to actually have a gear score above 200 to be able to get that 240 gear, and you can't do
that without running the incursion, so it makes perfect sense to me at least. Its not like 240's will be dropping everywhere either, they'll probably be as rare as named weapon drops, and you'll have to be going up against enemies as tough as those in the
incursion to get, so you'll have to work for it, thats for sure

I've been playing pretty much everyday since release, and it really isn't as bad as you're making out. Can't say I've played one MMO from release that hasn't had these kinds of bugs and exploits, I'm just happy the devs fix them promptly, and don't mess
around. Plus, they listen to us and provide updates that we request, which is a rare thing.

 

so you think its correct you do the hard incursion to gear up so you can go out in the the standard events and get the highest end game drops, and by pass challenging incursion, interesting.

Also, if you read my posts they aren't negative to the bugs and exploits they are issues with the game mechanics, and while they are fixing the bugs and exploits they are not address the things which would make the game more enjoyable IMO.

Do the developers listern to us, the shot gunners and be a problem all the way through, they have been reported to be an issue by the community, and they have done nothing to change them, or look at how they work.

 

I think your misreading what the guy above posted Davey. I think what he means is, as it currently stands, no-one (unless you glitched it), can do the incursion on challenging due to most of us being under leveled and not being able to get better gear,
even after doing the incursion on hard. If it doesn't drop, we can't get higher.

So the new enemies in the DZ is good in my opinion, because it will enable the majority of us to get a higher gear score, which in turn will enable us to do the challenging mode and perhaps actually get the gear we want.

He says you can do it if your level 193 and above.

I don't have a problem doing hard incursion (or other stuff) to level up, but i just don't think it makes enough difference for when you do challenging incursions

I don't think they should put the highest end game gear in standard events, which I agree it makes it more accessible, I don't think thats the way to fix the problem, i think the mechanics in the incursions are to blame.

 

so 1.2 is coming in a few days, just watched the
Twitch stream and i'm pretty excited about these changes and looking forward to the new gear sets, stash boxes in all of the DZ checkpoints, locked stashes, supply drops giving high-end items every time, i'm rather burnt out on the DZ, the weight of grinding
to rank 75 is just more than i can bear, so i think a lot of these changes are really great.

Thanks for the link, looks good tbh, but not sure it will draw me back in. Gutted i bought the season pass.

 

This game became beyond boring to me after a couple of weeks. I literally can't think of anything that would bring me back to it. New shoes wouldn't even bring me back. lol

 

1.2 rocks a hefty 4.6gb update. Currently installing before the servers come back on in approximately 30 minutes. Hopefully this breathes life back into The Division.
