The Division no longer installs

I have owned and played The Division since day one with a good 160 plus days in hours of play and to this day still do as an active community member, the last I played the game was around 2am GMT on the 2nd of Feb. taking Saturday off to follow the 6 nations
rugby tournament I tried playing Sunday eve but the game would not boot and kept giving the error message that many have received.

It was recommended that I uninstall and re-install the game, something a colleague had to do now the game has been removed from game pass so I proceeded to do so, unfortunately it installed all the digital add on's from the season pass I owned but it will
not read the disc to install, it starts to and makes the noises and that is it. Does anyone know if this is also a game that Xbox is having issues with, I have never had any installation or reading issues until the removal from Game pass.

Hello there,

thanks for letting us know that you got it working. When it comes to disk games, I install all of them offline. This makes the install so much faster. Then when you go online it only needs the update. I will be locking this thread as you were able to install
the disk.

I have had one of the gamer lot just inform me that I should try going offline and then install, this has worked and is currently installing, frustrating and annoying to have to do so but if you own it on dsic then I recommend you try it too. I share your
annoyance though, I have had to do two hard resets in the last week as the Xbox was struggling with multiple accounts signed in and digital content not loading, some that still won't work after these two resets and a few re-installations so not all is well.

I have exactly the same problem as you. Season Pass, same timing of failure, last weekend.. Game will not start anymore. Not really happy about that. Spent a lot of hours of play. Dialog box asking me if I own the game. error code x0803F8001. All of my
other games start up fine. This tells me it is not the Xbox environment that is causing this. Have never had issues with the game other than slow server at times. Good luck.

Im a bit confused becuase i installed terraria which i can no longer install but i am still able to use but you can no longer install the division but i cant play it
