The Division and Internet

I am looking in to purchasing the Division. I wonder if my internet can run it. I have a sat alive Internet. Surf air wireless. I have a 3 download and 1 upload. My internet won't work with Destiny. I was just wondering before I buy it. Thanks in advance.

i was trying to post a link to the division 2 league table and not division 1 like posted, but stupid internet expolrer 9 doesnt like these fourms

 

guess what, online MMO-style games have internet requirement xd

Other games that require internet to play: Destiny, Sunset Overdrive, The Division, The Crew

You should be fine, unlike Destiny you won't interact or even see other people in your game for the most part. The only time you will see anyone is if you invite somone, go in the Dark Zone area which is for PvP and avoidable or in safe houses. The game
does need to connect to Ubi's servers though, even for solo play.

 

Sat internet has high ping so your latency will be pretty bad for the most part I used to have sat internet, and let me tell it can get pretty bad.

 

One of my friends said that you need to have a decent ISP to run this game. But then again I think most games require a good ISP.

 

A isp that has good MS from where you at to xbox live servers and also must have a decent Download/Upload speeds due to the xbox one sucking so much bandwidth while playing, I noticed that when i play my Network Bandwidth jumps up to about 15% or so when
i play but then again i have 1 GB internet speeds with my cable provider which provides me a smooth game play and my nighthawk priorities the xbox before streaming
