The Division 2 Raids

The division 2 its awesome with raids coming more players to clan up with yes

Search for some streams, it looks pretty brutal, and I really do think random matchmaking would be counter productive. Maybe hit up some clubs on Xbox, use the looking for group function to find like minded peeps to try it out.

It's what I'm gonna have to do, purely for the fun of dying like 99 times over the proud of 5hours or so lol

I think matchmaking is needed but mic required should be implemented as well. I'm down to do some Raids but I may need to get some gear sets.

I bought the game with the promise that all activities would have match making

Kind of on the fence with it.

I can see it being difficult to find 8 players from friends or clan list.

I've also seen matchmaking disasters and terrible players ruining the experience for others.

That is true, when going "random" to set up raids you never know what will happen and how it will turn out in any game. But 8 people is still 8 people, so I think that should be possible anyway for people that are not able or are not willing to set up a
group or join a clan just to try out some content (I would use it being mostly a solo player on The Division 2 for example, perfectly aware of the implications).
