The 60fps patch for Series X|S Division applies to the base game and any additional DLC.

And are you sure that the version you have of GTA is not the optimized version? Because as I mentioned what the advisor points out in the previous message, if it is an optimized version of the game, it will not work for you.

Control, werewolf, callisto protocol, cod cold war, crisis 2... among others all have X/S optimized versions that can be played from hhd or it was not automatically updated to the optimized version so I had the choice where to store and play it.

There are games that were certified for the one. Then the optimized version was auto installed and I'm forced to store them in ssd.

Other optimized games play just fine from my hhd even though they are optimized. So I can't accept that's its just not compatible with or is only compatible with a specific machine. Because there are plenty of cases that are in direct contradiction of that statement.

Meaning it can be done with all of them. They just don't. If it isn't exclusive to the new generation system there is no real reason why I shouldn't be able to choose my version like I can with the aforementioned titles aside from them choosing not to provide the option.

Because on my Xbox series x, it only shows 'Optimized for series x/s' but if a xbox series x version of a game is NOT 'optimized' how would i know if I'm playing a series x/s version of a game?

There are two different versions of the game. That's why you always hear that "PC ports are bad." Developers usaully develop for console since it is less work on their end for optimization. Another game that does this is Minecraft. You buy different versions of it for Xbox, Switch, PlayStation, PC, mobile, etc. Each version is optimized for that specific hardware.
