The Division 2 Bonus Content Will Not Install

Hi

I bought The Division 2 Ultimate Edition for £92.99 from the Microsoft Store.

As well as the standard game it should have come with the Battleworn pack, Capitol defender pack, elite agent pack, first responder pack and Year 1 pass.

The game is installed and plays fine. The bonus packs show as installed in the main screen of Xbox but are not installed in the actual game. I have followed both Microsoft and Ubisoft's instructions to install the bonus packs, i have uninstalled and reinstalled
the game etc but still no bonus items.

So basically i have paid £92.99 for the standard edition.

I have contacted both Ubisoft and Microsoft via their support website but i am just getting the runaround as neither is helping.

I have been messaging Ubisoft since the release date, i have sent them numerous screen shots and they just keep sending me the same instructions to find the missing items. I told them i want a refund but they said i need to speak to Microsoft as i bought
the game from them.

I have spoke to Microsoft and the agent said to raise a refund request for the Ulitmate Edition and then buy the standard edition. I was happy to do this as i love the game but i would have preferred to have my bonus content.

I raised a refund request and Microsoft have declined it and have said its a Ubisoft issue and they need to sort it.

so between these 2 multi-million pound companies they are giving me the runaround and giving zero in customer service.

I'm at breaking point with it all and on the verge of contacting my credit card company to sort this mess out and get my money back.

Has anybody ever done a credit card charge back regarding a microsoft game? Will they be spiteful and suspend my account as i have dared to try and get a refund and something that is not what i paid for?

what should i do next?

Short answer yes, our Xbox Billing specialists are equipped, tool wise, to look into the account details and see what is going on. Also just to be thorough, we suggest uninstalling the game, clearing the game cache, and reinstalling the game to make absolutely
sure the error is on the license.

How to clear Game Cache on the Xbox One:

System

Storage

Clear Local Saved Games

Yes and Restart

IF THE CONSOLE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNETno
progress or purchase data will be lost, what we accomplish by doing these steps would be to resync the profile to the cloud getting rid of any corruption as a byproduct.

I will do that, will they be able to see what i have done up to now to try and get my content to work just as you have?

I love the game and i want to play the game but i'm worried that the year 1 pass will not work either when stuff is released later this year. The year 1 pass is a big part of the game for me

with the refund, you have the option to reply to the rejection email from the refund request form for a second look at your case. For further assistance, we strongly encourage you to setup a call with one of our billing specialists at

Each profile can set ONE console at a time as their home console and any other profile on that console can then play that profiles digital games and use its subscriptions without the profile with the
ownership of the games and subscriptions being signed in at the same time.

Good to know, but if i got my own console and this new console to my home console then this did not work anymore on the old console right?

So i set the console to my home console on my account to an now it works - he has all the Content of the game, but i think this is not the solution for the initial Problem, because he bought and installed a seperate copy of the full
game (Ultimate Edition) and so it should work without my account set to home console so that i share my game data with him.

And that is the real Problem which should be solved. So i checked what is installed on the console under his profile and compared it to my profile:

His installed game files:

- Red Dead Redemption 2

- Red Dead Redemption 2 Special Edition Content

- Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition Content

- Red Dead Redemption 2 Pre Order Bonus War Horse

- Red Dead Redemption 2 Pre Order Bonus War Treausre Map

My installed game files:

- Red Dead Redemption 2 Special Edition Content

- Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition Content

- Red Dead Redemption 2 Pre Order Bonus War Horse

- Red Dead Redemption 2 Pre Order Bonus War Treausre Map

So we both have installed exactly the same game files, but if is only logged in, Nothing of the Special and ultimate edtion either the pre order Bonus stuff is loaded and accessible in the game. And that ist no correct. So what's the
Problem?

Yes, they are separate. The console comes with the standard version of the game ONLY, and comes with its own exclusive bonus content. 2 totally different sets of merchandise/bonus content come with the purchase of each.
