The Disconnects are real

Hello to anyone who reads this, whether they have he same problem, or a solution. I've been playing Xbox One for over a year or two now, and have just been having this aggravating problem for the past 4-5 months.

It started out as nothing too bad. I used rechargeable batteries for a long time and my controller would glitch out, blinking the home button on the controller and maybe disconnecting my turtle beaches so i couldn't talk or hear. ok, no big deal. after a while,
it then escalated to random disconnects of the controller itself, the home button blinking yet again, but the functionality of all buttons would cease for 3 second, and my turtle beaches stop working as well for the duration.

This is where i got annoyed. I switched to using the plug and play cord that came with the rechargable batteries. it worked fine for a while until i learned of a huge problem:

When i played "Tom Clancey's: The Division", and my character was set on fire in any possible way, my controller would disconnect and fail to work unless i unplugged and replugged it. I got *** off, but not even to bother with it immediately. I tried my hardest
to keep myself from getting hit by fire, but the moment i got rushed by cleaners and my controller flipped out each and every time, thats where i drew the line. I got out a new, never used cord from a second set of rechargeable batteries and it completely
fixed the problem...

BUT NOW

i bought an entirely new controller, and I downloaded "Sunset Overdrive" because it was free for Xbox Gold Members. Whats he first thing i do when the game starts? try to figure out every button and how its works. and can you guess what happens?
when i shoot a gun that has no ammo, MY CONTROLLER DISCONNECTS AND NOTHING WORKS FOR 10 SECONDS!
are you serious? how does this even work?

theres got to be a way to get this to stop. i cant stand it. all i want to do is play a game without my controller flipping out and ruining my gameplay experience because i get stuck in the middle of a fight.

i've tried rechargeables

i've tried normal batteries

i've tried switching batteries

i've tried cords

i've tried NEW cords

i've tried NEW Controllers

i've try powercycling my console

i've tried syncing my controller

i've tried updating REPEATEDLY

i'm relying on you, Xbox Community, since xbox support doesn't have the help i need pretty much whatsoever.

@Galactic TheMikeRobles who asked the question is a person of official capacity. From what I gather is taking over as the guy for the community like FilthieRich. He has said on here or twitter that he is working to change the forum for KI. Which is why I
responded as I did. So my response isn't falling on deaf ears.

 

Hi Play! I know this may sound silly, but I want you to give this a try. It seems to work for people who have sync issues, and I'm hoping it will work for you too!

1. Remove batteries from the controller

2. Plug the controller into the console with a USB cord

3. Hard reset the console (turn off, remove power source, turn back on)

4. While console is powering on, hit the bind button on the left side 3x

5. After the console is at the Dashboard, hit the bind button on the controller 3x.

6. Profit, because the controller should stay connected now. Put the batteries back in and go wireless.
