The cursor for my xbox one is skipping when i use my controler

Well, possible that it's also a drifting issue. To further isolate it, try to configure your controller's button mapping and mess around with it and see which configuration could fix the issue on moving your selection or cursor.

What exactly is your console model? When did that issue start to occur?

Please simply try to press & hold your console's power button and select the option to Restart it. It should fix any minor issues.

So i just read another forum of a similar question/problem and their controller had a drift that caused a fast scrolling option on there console and im thinking that could be the underlying cause of my issue as i know that my main controller has a drift with the r3 analog stick and it drifts towards the left. Thoughts?

Hello i have restarted it twice and nothing has changed. The problem start a day or so ago. It is an older white xbox one model that is about four or five years old maybe six honestly.
