"the current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox live"

I made a new live Gold account on my new Xbox one, then took my xbox 360 to college with me. I just signed in with my outlook email for the live account and and logged in perfectly fine. My network is good, my wifi is good, but every time i try to play CoD
(any game, i've tried Ghost and AdvancedWarfare) it comes up saying that "the current profile is not allowed to play on xbox live." I tried restarting the console, I tried clearing my cache, i tried getting rid of and then re-downloading the profile but nothing
is working. I couldn't have been banned because I haven't played for several weeks. What could be the problem?

I just tried to play call of duty ghosts online and I'm getting a notice saying "The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox live"

I just bout gold membership for $59.99 and now when I try to get on multiplayer to play xbox live it says "the current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox live." Why is this?

 

If this is the account you're trying to use, you're not showing as gold here. You may want to try signing into
Sign in to your Microsoft account to make sure it shows you're supposed to have a gold subscription.
