    Thanks for the replies but I definitely got it (not the demo) from GWG. I know I'm getting on a bit but I'm still capable of downloading the correct game. Obviously it must have been a glitch in the system. Which is not uncommon for XBL. Anyway as I've
    said I've just given up on it, as MS support don't have a clue what they're doing.

    Rusty, have out tried clearing the system cache? Here is a link that explains how to do it:

    support.activision.com/.../Deleting-Old-Files-from-PlayStation-4-and-Xbox-One-Consoles


    Before you do that, uninstall The Crew this way the system cache is cleared of any past Crew information that maybe stuck.

    If that doesn't work, the only other thing I could possibly suggest is to contact Ubisoft and see if they may have a suggestion about how to proceed. They might be able to do something, not sure what considering it was a GWG offer, but they might be able
    to help you out.

    Unfortunately, I think DrunkenAcid might be correct on this one. If you happened to download the Xbox One or 360 Trial instead of the full game that would definitely cause that problem and give you that specific error message. Someone mentioned checking
    your Microsoft account to see if it was in your purchase history. The problem with that is that Games for Gold games (or any Free to Play games) don't show up in your purchase history.

    Sorry to hear it, RustyBucket21. I suggest replying back to the email you were sent to continue troubleshooting the issue. I understand this is a frustrating issue, but it looks like this was escalated to a higher tier.

    Contact xbox and go through your purchase history with them they should be able to see on your history that you have owned the game sometimes when games with gold come out if they are downloaded on a specific account they wont be accessible later on down
    the line it has happened to me before hope you can get it sorted thank you.
