The Crew Closed Beta

Went into this not expecting much after experience with the last beta but absolutely loved every second of it, well me and Mr Artful Codger played 4 hours straight on it.

Absolutely HUGE area to explore, gameplay/handling it reminded me of the old ( and best in my opinion ) Need for Speed games, just simple but great fun to play especially in co-op.

There were a few server issues, both of us got booted a few times, luckily getting back in wasn't a problem, puts you straight back into your co-op Crew and you don't lose any progress, well if you got booted during an event you have to replay it. Hopefully
the full game will be more stable!

I think the real shame though is already the comments I'm seeing on Twitter, loads of people's first comments are "Graphics" some have even said they didn't bother trying any events/missions once they saw the visuals! Sure it wouldn't look out of place on
the Xbox 360 and being honest I hope the full game looks a little crisper but even if it doesn't improve it won't stop me buying day one for the amount of fun it was to play.

Highly impressed!

^ whats different compared to the first beta Lofty?

^ Not alot mate lol ...

To be honest when I played the first beta I was a little under the weather lets say and my gaming mojo had deserted me a bit which obviously didn't help.

Plus the major factor, first time around I played it on my own, playing co-op with Mr Codger today and it was just so much fun but I think most games are more fun when in co-op!

Co-op games are deffo the best type of games. I dont think this will be enough to get me of FH2 but i will be trying the beta on the other console with an open mind.

I was unimpressed with the first wave, as you were Lofty, but currently downloading this one and will give it another go.

Obviously some will like it, others won't but I'd definitely recommend giving it time, it's what I call a "Slow Burner", starts off a little slow lets say but then it came to life.

Just don't go by first/early impressions! Just a bit of advice from an old fart
