Worth the price? I know the game has had a lot of negative feedback but I quite like the premise of it although I'd rather notwaste £25 if it really is bad. Cheers.

EA is at it again….

For $24.99 you can get Season Ticket that will give you early game release, and more. I got the EA email last night my question is this if I bought a sports game will I still be forced to pay this Season ticket for
$24.99 for 12 months or can I just play the game like normal ?

Not sure really, i enjoyed the closed beta so this is a game i intend to buy, but i always knew the price would fall fast due to the negative reviews, and it seems to have lots. Tempted myself with this as could get it for £20 with reward points

 

Not played it but not heard great reports about it plus when it comes straight in at £25 it doesn't bode well in my opinion.

 

It doesn't bode well does it lol?! Almost half price within 2 weeks of release but it was on my list of 'to guy's games. I've got til the 24th to make a decision and even if it turns out to be a bad on CEX offer more than £25 trade!!!

Glad I traded mine in last week before the price dropped. I really enjoyed the game although some of the takedown and escape missions were a right pain. Another good game to play with friends (when the servers work properly).

 

This game is not worth 4.99

 

Like Mr Codger said, I really am enjoying the game, loads to do, absolute HUGE area to explore and it plays even better in co-op.

The game reminds me of Need For Speed meets Test Drive but in a much bigger world!

However, it's suffering from quite a few issues, often find the servers are down, game is prone to crashing/freezing and it doesn't seem to be getting better at the moment.

If they sort these issues out then I'd say to anyone go for it, especially at this price, if you take the plunge now then you will need some patience for when the problems arise!

Go to be honest though, the problems that Ubisoft games seem to be suffering from recently especially with their servers I don't hold out much hope for future games, especially with games like The Division, probably one of 2015 most anticipated games.

 

Cheers guys. I quite like the sound of NFS meets TDU in a bigger, more diverse world! This was never going to be a Horizon beater but I found FH2 a dull as dishwater chore this time around so this may be the racer to keep me occupied. Personally, I think
Ubisoft put all their efforts into Far Cry 4 and let the work experience boys and girls work on ACU and The Crew! I'll be bitterly disappointed if The Division is a letdown.

 

I played both the betas, I wasn't impressed one bit. Bet then again, I compare all the driving games against Forza, have done since the days of FM1 on the 1st generation Xbox. So my opinion may be a little biased.

The graphics aren't worthy of 'next gen', they belong on last gen. The handling of the cars is shocking. Game play was, and will probably still be, very repetitive. The only thing, in my opinion, that this game has got going for it is the massive open world.

Didn't really enjoy the beta and not surprised the price has dropped quickly, will need to wait on a new racer

 

Also same price on Amazon too. But it got so any *** reviews so I am not sure if this is a good idea to get this.
