@smileskybird: Far be it from me to rain on your parade, but please direct me to whatever "hint" you may've found that CONFIRMS that buying houses or creating avatars is actually a thing in The Crew 2? I love me some Ubisoft games - in fact I'm currently
knees deep in my *third* playthrough of Watch_Dogs OG, the original and best, running at a resolution higher than anything I've previously experienced on Xbox 360 and Xbox One ('tis a fact because whenever my PS4 Pro enables 'supersampling' mode, it means
that source code is running @ resolutions above 1080p) - and I'm just itching to replay Ghost Recon Wildlands once I'm all caught up with the latest May releases...

Funny that, cause one of the freebies with my PS+ membership this month is Beyond: Two Souls, running at 4k! (Well, I suspect as much because it's supersampled on my 2k display). I've just left this overhyped Black Ops IIII reveal on Twitch... it had like
370,000 viewers all tuning in for whatever greatness awaits. Unfortunately, this precludes any "hint" of SINGLEPLAYER because apparently the future is defined by multiplayer and moar ZOMBIEZZZZZZ!!! What a crock. The next big exclusive on my playlist is Detroit:
Become Human (May 25th), but you know what?

I actually think that Beyond: Two Souls is more appealing. A three-year-old game that's been dialled up to 4k levels of litness! So please, if The Crew 2 is bringing something other than planes, trains and automobiles I'd like to know more. Because Ubisoft
have already sold me on the games that are already out there... Watch_Dogs, GR Wildlands and Far Cry 5! Perhaps you need to forget about wishlists and actually PLAY SOMETHING in the here and now? ^_-

version they may release a DLC or update for it. TDU2 was my first multiplayer game I got in 2011, a few months after I got my Xbox 360 console. You could buy houses and walk around them. They also had a casino island. Even though I didn't really want to play
with people 20-30 years older than me at the time.... with that casino island at first, and I don't gamble (i.e. lotto/horse racing) in real life either due to my up bringing. I actually found it a little fun and met some other kids and young people hanging
out there. We would just goof around, drive around or play poker with the others and have fun with the emote system. But that was like 2011/2012. I actually do play stuff but am not serious about it as it's my free time and thus I don't have 0 Gamerscore but
10,000+. And I have my privacy settings set so that only my friends can view more stuff on my profile like online status etc. I like to say I take all your feedback as a compliment, no matter if it's good neutral or harsh. That's my way of turning a negative
to a positive. You'd be surprised. I managed to crack up much older gamers.

As for TC2, it has my interest. I could list them but I'd be repeating myself. This year so far I've been mainly playing Planet Coaster, The Sims 4 (on PC), and Cities Skylines (on PC). TC2 is one of those games which will move me to play more on Xbox since
I'm getting a bit sick of Minecraft. I'm also looking forward to when Jurassic World Evolution comes out next month too. I like simulation games.

Hopefully. Some rumors actually can turn out to be true. Regardless if or not houses/apartments are in the game starting launch or later, it looks like a fun game. I jumped on FH3 this evening and multiplayer is way more fun than the
people who play Minecraft Xbox One. Those people had mics AND no split screen people. I know KitKat gets annoyed with them. I might even get the PC version too. As I don't think you can get one version on the Xbox Store that you can play on both your Xbox
One X and your PC, just says "Xbox One". But might get both. One for high visual fidelity graphics and the other to play with my 100+ friends on Xbox. I'll be getting the Xbox version first, I've some money to spare. You can even first person on a jet boat
too. I don't think this game will be for more serious people, as this is going to attract a lot of younger and immature players. More serious peeps are forewarned.

 

I remember playing a bit of 'TDU2' with you on Xbox 360 not long after we met each other. Yeah I'll get the game too. I know Nicole is keen for it too. She can practice her skills on buildings. Think we'll need to give her bestie
forever some coaching not to give way at every give way sign. Ok that's just something I picked up on with one of her Forza Horizon 3 clips. But yeah, smileskybird, definitely a game for you xD

you're really not controlling an avatar but shifting a camera around (sigh).

Still, I guess you can *see* a person inside the car so that's better than nothing (unless that person is just a dudebro that everybody shares). The Crew 2 is still a few weeks away, so I can definitely find a window to play it.
Hope the reviews are good and there's some kinda story to it - after all, the first game had an actual "crew" that you either liked or loathed.

As suspected, these are token "drivers" - not even a patch on Forza Horizon's DRIVATARS - and calling them token "dudebros" would be a compliment. In fact, now that I think about it: the general appeal of these gormless ciphers takes me back to the very
first time I laid eyes on a message board! Yep, in AD 2000, at the dawn of internet space time, I'll never forget the first insult hurled at another person. I thought it curious at the time; why would another sentient being belittle another because they didn't
have access to a more fully-formed vocabulary?

Thanks to what Ubisoft has frontloaded (aka dumped) into The Crew 2's cockpits, I now bow in deference. These truly are: THE BRAINDEAD SPAWN OF SEA SERPENTS!!!! And on that note, I am *so* #outofhere on Day One! <_<
