The Crew 2 looks set to be the best game to hit Xbox One in 2018

It's the weekend, yay.

What's everyone's opinions about THE CREW 2?.... You can race in it (like Forza), you can free roam probably in it (like Forza Horizon series), night driving, dynamic weather, day and night cycles (?), and seamlessly switch between driving a Boat (like Hydro
thunder hurricaine and Riptide and Kinect Sports Rivals Wake racing, just without the Kinect) and drive a plane. So you can fly, surf, and wheels in one game. The graphics look good too!

I may be looking to get the disc copy of the game, and will sell COD BO3 and Sea of Thieves for it too.

What's even more impressive is it will be more like Test Drive Unlimited 2 too, with a hint that you may be able to buy your own houses and walk around them too. Maybe be able to create your own avatar too (I hope) like what TDU2 on Xbox 360 has, a game
I played on my still working fine Xbox 360 slim console. Aside from one thing, Australians and New Zealanders and UK drive on the left side not the right side (American way). Thankfully Forza Horizon 3's way is you drive on the left.

I will be getting this game day one. The game is also Xbox One X Enhanced too so get to enjoy the simplicity of a controller with only a few buttons to worry about, compared to a full size keyboard with more buttons to complicate things (one device) and
mouse (that's two devices, why not game using one simple device, a controller).

Hi, bought the XBOX One s with 2 consoles. I an not familiar with the plays. my friend have set up pes 2018. how can I set it up so I can play with my son? What do I need to do to set up and when we select a game select 2 players?

The first game was exceedingly poor, seemingly only existing to tick the Ubisoft Checklist of things that open world games need. So I certainly hope that the second game is leagues better because the driving did feel good in the first game.

You do realise however that you can connect your Xbox One controller to your PC, by cable or the official wireless adaptor, if you have Windows 10 you can just use a cheap bluetooth dongle to do the job. So your using a controller has a plus for the console
version seems a little odd.

 

Hey al, my bf is getting it on PC. It looks, meh, kwl.... but I'll get it. I'll see if Paige can get it too so we can play it together on xBox. I randomly txt some of my xBox friends earlier this week and it looks like it's gonna
be an awesome game. I don't think Paige wants to play mc on Xbox cause hardly anyone plays on Xbox One, we used to like it on Xbox 360 when heaps of people played it, but yea, she's complaining she's sitting like 10 mins. alone in a mini game she creates and
this first people to join are a bunch of split screeners, and she has high speed fibre - stupid servers -.- She said she'll only play it if me, you, Sarah or Natasha are on. Maybe we can catch up tomorrow, pretty tied down today :}

 

I think it will be a successful game. It appeals to the younger age group too. It's like multiple games in one game. Water driving, land driving, flying, and motorcycles. Add to that you'll be able to buy your own houses in the game like TDU2 on Xbox 360.
And the graphics are good, and it's a part of the 100+ Xbox One Games list that will be Xbox One X Enhanced.

Likes Calm person. I did try that once but got an error code. I guess Xbox doesn't like my Intel Core i7 GTX 1070 SSD machine then. And Microsoft is constantly issuing updates cause there always appears to be something wrong with the patches. Remember PC's
are made in a vast array of different configurations. And everything on my pc and Xbox is up to date. I'll just play it on my Xbox One X thanks.

Nicole, yeah Saturday's can be busy, sports and extra curricular activities. That's good news. We could create a club in TC2 (that's The Crew 2). Out of my full friends list on Xbox 360, only a 3rd of them are active on Xbox One. Went swimming this morning.
Far too many split screeners in Minecraft Xbox One. I remember too when heaps of people were on Xbox 360. But since Xbox One had a very rough launch the criticism of it at launch, that scared many to PS4 or PC. PS4 has at least 2x more active members on it
than what Xbox One has. Had no troubles with multiplayer on Xbox 360. Xbox One servers can be dodgy at times. They appear to be working today though. I've lasted 30 minutes without being kicked out from the servers. Maybe a good chunk of Xbox One players will
get the game when it comes out, that will make finding others a breeze. Well at least you're not getting spammed with friend requests like on Xbox 360, can take some relief from that. I think we're just running into all the boring peeps on Xbox One so far

lol... You know Xbox has a horrible upcoming game lineup when someone thinks the Crew 2 is set to be the best game in 2018.

I used to love racing games, but I get kind of bored of them quickly now so my excitement is nil. I will get Horizon 4 if it’s set in Japan though.

 

It's not all about racing though. Yes there is some emphasis of racing, just like any Forza game including the Horizon series 1 2 and 3. But just like Horizon series, you have the option to play free roam and do whatever you want. Just like TDU2 on Xbox
360. Yes it's got some racing game. But you can buy houses, free roam multiplayer, and you can cruise in your car, motorcycle, plane AND jet boat. And the graphics looks cool. How cool is that. You get all of this in one game. It also has iconic areas too
like the San Francisco bridge etc. The Crew 2, it like has all these games packed into one:

TDU2 from Xbox 360

Hydro Thunder Hurricane

Kinect Sports Rivals Jet Boating game, minus the Kinect

Riptide GP2

GTA V, just emphasis on buying houses, free roaming, and racing, buy homes, etc.

It will have like clubs where you can get together with friends, just like TDU2 for FH3. And these games tend to have easier multiplayer experiences. This game should appeal to the younger market too. So more people are likely to play it, which means more
people to find and play with in multiplayer.

 

What error message did you get? I use a Xbox One controller on two PCs, one running 8.1 and the other Windows 10, and neither of them have had any trouble connecting to the controller.

Of course I don't have your exact setup but both of mine are quite different from each other. An i5 4460 (4 cores, 4 threads) and a GTX 970. The other being a Xeon 5670 (6 cores, 12 threads, and overclocked to 4.5ghz) with a GTX 760. The latter machine only
having two SSDs for drive space.

 

My bf's dad has like a GTX 1080ti and an i7 8700k and something like 64GB memory. It's liquid cooling which looks wicked.

I watched a few YT videos of it, it looks like it's gonna be a fun game. Probably will only play it weekends due to school and after school activities.

Played The Crew 1 and thought it was terrible, from what I've seen of The Crew 2 its more of the same.

Yes you can fly a plane or drive a boat, but the problem is that the controls for flying a plane are totally different to driving a boat, which is different to driving a car. Something somewhere will not feel right and that's what I think will happen, the
flying will probably be really arcade.

 

I've never trusted watercooling. I can't get over the belief that water and electronics shouldn't mix.

I really wanted to like the first Crew title. One of my favourite games on the 360 was Burnout Paradise and The Crew looked to be something in the same vein as it. Yet it turned out to be just like every other Ubisoft open world title.

So with The Crew 2 I'm going to wait and see with it, here opinions from on here and from friends in real life.

Bit of both really. Xbox is no longer just a console brand, it is also possible to game with Xbox features on a Windows 10 PC. So trying to find out why Xbox peripherals aren't working on a Windows 10 PC seems a fair topic of conversation.

 

Microsoft makes Windows 10 for PC, but they don't make the PC hardware many use. Nvidia, AMD, Samsung, Seagate, HP, Sony, EVGA, and the list goes on. These companies don't really keep up with the monthly updates Microsoft issues. However the Xbox app runs
perfectly on both my high end custom desktop PC and my WHITE (an Australian women on here likes white) HP sleek laptop.

I'll get the Xbox version of this came. It's an Xbox One X Enhanced game and I have a 4k Sony 43' kdx80E HDR TV with an X-Reality-PRO processor and advanced TriLuminos advanced colour technology which delivers beautiful rich wider colour palate. And since
I have over 100 friends (not followers, friends with each other people) on Xbox, I'd like to play with them too, and make use of my Xbox Gold subscription.

I got The Crew disc version but sold it after 4 weeks. Last year The Crew was part of Xbox Live Free GOTY program thingy where they offer a few free games and if you get them, you can play it free for as long as you have a Gold subscription. But haven't
really touched it.

The Crew 2 is much richer than the original. More vehicles to play with, boat, motorcycle, plane, car, and buy houses. In TDU2, you could customize your avatar too, boy or girl. So it has The Sims in it too? Well at least I have an imagination. But it has
a lot of things in it that peaks my interest. Make the most of life rather than waiting for reviews and being late to the party.... I only get things which peak my interest after doing some research. There's heaps of YouTube videos of demo gameplays of it.
And I know this game is for me. Other than Jurassic World Evolution which I'll be getting for PC cause it's mainly a single player simulation/strategy game also due next month, I don't see any other games coming out on Xbox this year that are good. Not interested
in Japanese in FH4. I prefer Australia not a game based in a country which are whale murderers. And you can walk around in your brought homes in TDU2 and TC2 looks to be similar to that too.
