I really don't get CoD fans. A new game every year, minor adjustments to mp, campaign is recycled. I get mp but I'd rather play the Halo mp every few years than recycled stuff. It might as we'll be madden (insert number here). They've bamboozled you...lol...

[/quote]Minor adjustments to MP, are you joking, the difference between IW and TA is immense, and the difference between COD 4 and Ghost is Immense (not for the better I might add).

its funny, all the people that still have a copy of COD 4 will happily still play it and it still works really well, try and get people to play MW3 or BO.

if they released COD 4 on the XO I would buy i, I am not a fan of Halo multiplayer, but would buy unreal tournament, and I am look forward to Titan Falls.

I don't find FPS campagins interesting, as your led through a map and shoot the same AI, I like free rome games, and choice and I just don;t think FPS campaigns give you that.

And what if ,a solo/coop COD.

A big solo story (15-20 hours) with different paths and more freedom

A coop mode 4 vs1 (like Fable Legends) with several maps and goals.FPS for the 4 players squad,RTS for the other one....

More tactical & a fresh feeling in the franchise.....

I hope the go back to world war setting for the next cod game, The multiplayer just seems to be getting worse and worse each year since after cod 4 and mw2, Only zombies and extinction mode keep me interested at the moment with the series.

How about they just stop making CoD games. There's a reason they get so much flak and that's because it's just the same old same old year in and year out. It would be nicer if these companies were used for some games with a bit more innovation rather than
the same old copy and paste over and over again.

I have no issues with different studios doing CoD games. What I do mind is using the same engine with little to no tweaks to the net code so all it appears to be the same game with different skins. What I would like to see is them actually coming up with
something new besides the old standby. While the game still sells pretty well with its current formula, I see the franchise having struggles in the future if they don't find some way to breathe new live into the series.

Hopefully they will have a programming team with enough passion to stop reprobates modding cod titles in what seems like no time at all. Or even better they might put enough effort into their programming to actually prevent it altogether. Or realistically
is that too much too expect from a company in this day and age of gaming no matter how many millions they reap?. Making a game that is not tampered with.

I can not imagine a world where cod was not 'changed' by some sad acts. And Activision do absolutely nothing about it which always inspires a massive amount of confidence in what-ever cut and paste slop they drag out of their ideas pit next.

Highly innovative sounds interesting though so maybe they are trying to make up for the lack of innovation in this franchise for the last 5 years.

I know they are not alone but for a series that makes so much money they are woefully under-supported by the devs. Time for change and not just the development cycle or indeed the devs themselves. There are so many things wrong with this franchise from the
ground up, and can a new developer make any difference to the 'same thing' every year feeling of the previous few titles. Very difficult to get excited about given where the game has gone.

A couple things for you hardcore gamers who don't like what cod is doing.

1) A large group of people like the game way it is.

2) what is the difference between cod and something like WoW? Cod charges you $60 twice a year and wow charges you $15 a month. You get several updates, 25 plus maps, new weapons and perks, ect. I do assume wow moderates hackers a little better, but beyond
stat hackers I haven't seen one hacker in ghosts.

3) The developers of the modern cod franchise have made a huge change to their game....It's called Titanfall. You are getting what you have been hoping for with that game and the other 1,000,000 plus casuals get to continue on with the cod updates. (I
know you guys know exactly what I am saying lol).

im gobsmacked,ghosts a meant to be the best cod everrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!,well my thoughts go to LP3 and what a abysmal thing that was,but DS1 and DS2 were good cant deny that,baffled now so ghosts was just a money maker?for this next instalment?,so the last
dlc will land for ghosts and new cod will arrive?

I've more or less always enjoyed the campaign in the COD series ( Really enjoyed the last one )

MP, why it can still be fun in short burst, I've lost any real interest in it now. For me to possibly get back into it they would have to change it totally but I can't see that happening as I believe too many out there will buy it as it is now.

I'm not knocking people for it, we all buy/play what we enjoy but from my point of view what to the developers do? Make a game that they know will sell and just add a few tweaks here and there or use up more time and make something totally new but risk losing
a lot of the die hard COD fans.

Wasn't the last Dead Space littered with an enormity of micro transactions? Weapons, armor, schematics, and so forth. Hope that's not the case here...

I don't think this is a good move, well it could be but I doubt it.

Let me try and explain, at present both developers each operate a separate core infrastructure, they use different engines, they have different stats, one does have theatre, they focus on esports differently, the list goes on.

Now the user expects the next version to be an improvement on the last, and that simply doesn't happen, it may or may not be an improvement on the version from that developer, but they simply don't complement each other and there is the problem.

IMO i think they would be getting in a core developer, to develop the main system for ever, and then maybe get other developers to develop the games.

this now raises more questions and doesn't offer any answers, how long have they been developing it, who's infrastructure are they using, what time will the game be based at.

I certainly won't be buy it at launch, not because its a new developer but because I am so disillusioned with the whole franchise, and there are at least 3 titles which I am interested in over COD.
