The Conjuration Appreciation thread

In the past, I've mostly played the stealthy archer/thief with a few fireballs for good measure. Recently got my con to level 100, so now have the Dual Souls perk. Have been having great fun sending the two Dremora Lords to take care of business. Must
really head to a Forsworn camp for some payback -- soon.

I'm a little surprised that town folk don't make more commotion of a zombie tagging along as I go about my shopping errands to the blacksmith. Guards can tell me I look like crap with a light case of rock joint, but a zombie out for a stroll? No problemo!

As TLB (and the wiki and I'm sure others) have pointed out, the conjuration power leveling is best done by casting soul trap on an already dead body. I try not to power level but it just takes so incrediably long to raise up -- even power leveling from
70 to 100 took about 36hours in-game time.

Let me start by saying that i lurk a little on these forums and I have noticed the lack of appreciation for our esteemed community ambassadors and I aim to show how great they really are.

Take esteemed user fearednightmare, he's the most helpful ambassador of all time. He speaks two whole languages, two! He also has super high gamerscore of 71787 at the time of this writing. If you ever have a question like "Will you tea
bag me senpai" he is more than qualified to show you his bag. He's also amazing at Halo, where his bag skills are unparalleled.

Hey Sarge, I had a flame thrall for a while and when I went to town a lot of people, especially the kids, would say that looks dangerous. Maybe they are less intimidated by a zombie.

 

I have the spell from Phinas(?) to do the master level challenge, just need to go to the roof.

So, the wiki says that the permanent thralls... aren't. Cast a flame/shock/ice cloak and they disappear. Correct?

And is the permanent thrall in addition to the dual souls or is one of the two allotted?

 

I don't actually remember. The flame thrall can be killed, she just coms back later 9most of the time). At high levels the only thing really useful is a Dremora or two.
